I have used Mr. Firestone a couple times in the past years. My daughter was in a car accident that left her with two badly injured ankles that she needs to wear braces on or she will fall flat on her face.
I ended up going to court early, anyone who has been in an accident knows these things can take years. The medical care sorely lacks because they don't want to touch anything that has to do with legal problems. She was not getting better, and my choices for doctor's were limited.
When the judge asked me why I cashed out at such a low cost when my daughter would be permanently left with this problem I told her that I could care less about the money. I needed good medical care and with the current stance I was not getting it for her. She understood, and we cashed out. I put the money away in a CD until she turned 18, which rolled over until she was 21 since a current boyfriend was just too happy to hear her coming into a windfall. Well the boyfriend is gone...
Mr. Firestone was efficient, kind, and very family oriented. He is always available to make time to talk. I would recommend him to anyone in our area who is having a problem with insurance or accidents.
