Best Pizza North of the Bronx! 11/27/2006

The food at Elvio's is great. In high season (tourist season) the wait may be long but it is worth it. If you love thick crust sicillian pizza I highly suggest ordering early in the day in order to reserve it because they only make a certain amount on any given day. This restaurant is great for kids, especially on Wednesdays because it is Family Night and they have Mo the Clown available for balloon making from 5pm - 8pm. There are also great deals on food for adults and kids alike. Just try it! Pros: Great for kids, good parking, while you wait you can shop a little Cons: In busy season the wait can be very long...but worth it. more

Great food, Bad Service 2/17/2003

All the food is extremely good, escpecially the pizza if you like thin crust. The service is not good, because even if it is not crowded (which is rare), it takes at least 40 minutes to make the pizza. If you wait until after 5 o'clock to order your pizza, you will have to wait at least a couple hours. If you don't mind waiting, then I would definitely reccomend this restaurant.
