I was working in this area of West Virginia and was happy to find this motel. Otherwise, I would have had to travel 40 miles away to Sutton/Flatwoods. Although the furnishings are older, the room was very clean. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. Early morning coffee in office. With it's view overlooking the Elk River, it can't be beat for the money. There are restaurants nearby
