It's was surprising that the pictures posted were not of this spa. While recieving a massage the sheets were pilied on so that they would strip the first layer then be ready for the next person. The lockers didn't work and the cups had a lipstick mark. Totally disgusted and wouldn't want anyone to visit. Will definetly go to Spa 190 in Mineola from now on for my massages and facials!!! more

I had a headache and the therapist gave ne a very good chair massage. Within minutes of the therapist concentrating on my back, neck, shoulders, and head, my headache was gone. The therapist used aroma therapy as well. She was very compassionate and tried to fulfill my needa to the best of her ability. I didn't rate the atomophere, because the therapist was promoting the spa at my gym and she gave me the chair massage there. more

Edilma is an excellent hair stylist who needed to have a review written about her and some recognition is in order. She knows what style will compliment your facial features. Everyone knows what it's like to see a hairstylist make everyone walk away with the same look, but not Edilma. She personalizes your style for you, a real signature mark, and she never forgets how you wear it, no matter how many times you remind her. It's just not necessary. The manner of style, well, what can I say, she's gracious and she really listens! She'll become your best friend. She is sooo sweet ... Pros: Always walk away looking beautiful more

This was the third year that I visited this red door spa during spa week. The treatments are always good and the experience has been worth repeating but this year was a little different. Although the staff was not very welcoming when I came in, I thought to just ignore that. Then while I was having my treatment I was told that it was part of one of the signature treatments which is usually $115. During spa week this treatment, which is PART of the typical treatment, is $50. I didn't expect the whole treatment with respect to time or extensiveness. However, when I left I handed the front desk administrator my $50 and a $10 bill for the therapist's tip. She looked at the tip, handed (almost threw) it back at me and said "it is strongly recommended that your tip be based on the original price of $115". I was truly offended because this treatment was shorter and less intense than the "original" - as the therapist admitted herself. So, if I go out for dinner and have a portion of a dinner, called an appetizer, should I tip on the dinner price? Maybe a poor analogy but if you hold yourself out as being a spa week participating facility you should welcome people and appreciate their patronage each after year. I don't like feeling as though I am taking advantage or being unfair. I am typically a 20%+ tipper and would think that the manager at this spa might want to re-acquaint the staff with the concept of professionalism. Otherwise, the massage was great! more

I have been loyal to the Red Door for their facials and waxing and loyal to Mimi, the best facialist EVER, but to my dismay I found out she was no longer at this location. I was advised that Mariana was wonderful and said I would give her a try. Well she was fabulous! She said she had taken on most of Mimi's clients and would be happy to help me. She was great and very professional. Thank you Mariana. Pros: Beautiful Spa more
