Strangely enough, I found myself at both the Camas and Vancouver locations of El Rancho Viejo this week. I've gotta say that both experiences were top-notch. Some say all Mexican food is about the same - not here. It's delicious. But it still takes more to stand out as a good restaurant in my mind. They didn't disappoint. The service was very friendly and helpful. The best surprise of all was the tasty sopatillas (sp?) they brought by the table for free after both meals! A tasty flour tortilla drizzled in honey and chocolate then dabbed with whipped cream! Mmmm.... I'm ready to go back! more

Authentic, tasty, affordable, and outstanding service 7/17/2008

My family and I went to this place, after a recommendation from a friend. The building itself is a little deceiving, but I cannot say enough good things about this place. The location I visited was on Fourth Plain, just a few blocks west of Andresen in Vancouver, WA Pros: Delicious, affordable, kid-friendly more

Very authentic Mexican food at very reasonable prices 6/8/2007

Don't be fooled by the not so great looking exterior, this place is by far the best pure Mexican food in Vancouver, possibly in the entire Portland-Metro area. I eaten Mexican food from Los Angeles to Mexico, to Florida, to Texas, to Arkansas, to here, this is truly one of the best I have ever had, easily in my top three. Pros: Food quality, speed, taste, value, service. Cons: Exterior could be nicer, that's all I can come up with. more

Good Mexican Food! 10/16/2002

This restaurant has incredibly fast service, wonderful food, and very good prices. Whether you're going for a quick meal or a longer dinner, it's the perfect place. Everything I've tried on their menu has been tasty. For a buy one-get one free meal deal, keep your eye on your mail for the Vancouver Clipper; they're frequent advertisers. more
