This parent is now enrolled back at Educare as we made space for their part time one year old- We are THE ONLY school in Palm Harbor that accepts Part Time One Year Old children\r The smell was from the carpet that was drying after being steam cleaned\r \r We are proud of our school and maintain an excellent reputation!\r \r Thank you\r \r Andrew Pisko\r more

Editorial review from Citysearch 12/11/2012

I was very happy to find a daycare center for my one year old son; especially since they were offering part time care. Although the appearance and smell of the center was not always pleasant, I found the staff very friendly; although not always the most organized with paperwork. Miss Kelly and Madison are very professional and an absolute pleasure to be involved with. My son had a strong bond with Kelly and seemed very happy being around the other children.\r My one complaint is that I was given last minute notice that my son could no longer attend as a part time student. I was broadsided by this news since I enrolled my son as a part timer and was not told this would be a problem. I felt like I was blown off by the ""CEO"" who told me he would take care of the problem...I had to keep calling and leaving messages for him and he finally contacted us at the last minute to say that he did not have the opening left for my son:(. more

A Good school to look into... 4/2/2012

When I did a tour of Educare, I came UN-announced and it went well. The owner gave me a tour, told me everything I needed to know about childcare in general, not feeding me crazy information about just this school. I observed the playground while the children played and they all seemed very happy. The school has been through changes since my child has started, but they all seem for the best. My child is happy at this school and learns a lot there and loves her teacher. The teachers are nice and always up front and honest. The price and location were perfect, and so far everything has went well.. more

Don't recommend. 3/14/2012

I went on a tour of this school at the very beginning of the year. I could hear the teachers yelling at kids in other rooms. the front desk looked very unorganized, and seemed if I were to give them paperwork with my child's personal information on it that it would stay out in the open, get lost, or fall into the wrong hands. I went around lunch time and the kitchen door was left open. The food looked unwelcoming and the woman cooking wasn't wearing a hair net, which I think is unhealthy. There were a couple nice teachers there, but other than that the teachers were too young and seemed too under pressure and their personal appearance was lacking. Overall the school is not what I expected. However, the children did look well taken care of in terms of cleanliness and hygiene. As a personal experience I would not recommend it, but I know there is much worse. more

Best day care i've ever been to! 10/2/2009

Never had i been to a daycare where the owners were ALWAYS on site. If there's a concern or a question one or both owners were there to meet my concern. Extremely professional, clean, safe, and l0oving atmosphere for children to grow in. I was amazed with this place! ! ! Pros: Everything from the price to the teachers and owners Cons: The owner's not single! :P more

Not a good fit 2/5/2009

My child cried every day and told me she wanted to go somewhere else. I looked around and found Bright Beginnings, an amazing school where she is so happy! The teachers were constantly changing and Daisy is not professional, especially after reading the review on this site. She lied...she has no children but instead, is trying everything she can to make her business look better. She does not care about the kids. Her only concern is about making money. I feel so sorry for all the names of parents who weren't paying on time. She had the audacity to put their names on the front door. She doesn't give any of the teachers time off and expects them to work every day, all day long. Take it from me, do not go here! Pros: Hard-working and compassionate employees more

BEST DAYCARE IN TOWN!!! 8/28/2008

I HAVE A VERY EXCEPTIONAL SON, WE HAVE TRIED 3 DAYCARES IN THE AREA. WITH NO LUCK! I STRUGGLED AND KEPT HIM HOME FOR A WHILE. THEN I WAS RECOMMENDED TO TRY EDUCARE OF PALM HARBOR. I DECIDED TO GIVE IT ONE LAST SHOT.\r BY FAR THIS ONE IS THE BEST! MY SON DIDN'T WANT TO GO TO SCHOOL BEFORE, BUT AFTER ENROLLING HIM INTO EDUCARE - HE NOW NOW ASKS ME IF WE ARE GOING TO SCHOOL ON THE WEEKENDS,NEVER CRIES IN THE MORNINGS, AND ENJOYS EVERY MINUTE OF HIS DAYS! I AM SO GLAD I LOOKED INTO THIS ONE! THE STAFF IS VERY LOVING AND TRUSTWORTHY! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRE-SCHOOL/DAYCARE!!! Pros: CARING TEACHERS AND OWNERS more
