Pleasant Experience 3/6/2012

I was given the Pamper Yourself package as a gift so I didn't have any hair or waxing treatments. I thought everything & everyone was great! The facial & massage were amazing! Although I didn't care for having to go up a steep spiral staircase via the sales floor in a robe (I was prepared for this after reading other reviews though). The hand treament was just ok & the pedicure was nice even though you soak in a large metal bowl so there's no massaging jets. The tech was friendly & chatty too. All in all it was relaxing day & I would recommend it to anyone. more

Burned my brows 9/29/2011

My stylist was 25 minutes late, the ""aesthetician"" burned my brows, the front desk lady blamed it on me she said my skin is too sensitive and I should get them threaded. Not true I always get them waxed. This place sucks, don't judge this book by it's cover, just because it is pretty on the outside doesn't mean they're good. All I got was a $140 bill and embarassing blisters on my face. more

I love Eden Day Spa! 2/13/2011

I am a military spouse and I have my priorities straight.... Each time I get to a new town I say, ""Where do I get my hair done......and now let's sign into the base."" ;) I am weary of getting hair services in spas because I feel like you'll get better results at a place that focuses solely on hair, but this time I was wrong! After hearing so many good things about Eden, I had to try it out. First of all, I want to tell everyone, do your homework! Don't go to a spa or salon on a whim and just get any old body and then complain. Know what you want and communicate with your stylist. Please don't write bad reviews because you didn't do your part! That being said, I got foil highlights and about NINE inches taken off my hair by Tonya Derose. I am very particular when it comes to my hair but I wasn't sure exactly what I needed and what would look best and I've also contemplated cutting my long hair for years but wasn't ready until now. After really communicating with Tonya, I got a beautiful cut and color and went from fried, dried and petrified to healthy and fabulous hair. Even though my hair is shorter now I still feel flirty and feminine. From the minute I came in (and I was lost and late) Tonya was wonderful and professional and warm and anticipated my every need, offering drinks and magazines and just the right amount of conversation. They have made a lifetime client out of me! more

iS THIS THE BEST CLARKSVILLE CAN DO? 12/25/2010

Awful. \r \r So much for a relaxing spa day. These people are clueless. They charge upscale prices but their spa is anything but. In the course of my visit I: was parked out in the "garden area" for almost an hour because they were running behind, had a good massage with a well-meaning therapist who talked about Christianity and tried to sell me her new Christian music CD. I think she talked so much because there were two or three stylists cutting up in the salon area and every word they said (they were gossiping about clients and other staff) was crystal-clear in the massage room. After my massage, I was left in the garden area again and some random person gave me a tour and tried to get me to book a party in their upstairs area (I do have a job in that line of work, but I do not know how they could know that). Back to the garden area, where I was left for so long that I just decided to get dressed and leave without finishing my services there. \r In short: the worst spa experience I hav more

Several bad experiences 10/1/2010

I agree with some of the other reviewers on the professionalism issues. The stylists do gossip, including the last one I had who paid more attention to that than my hair. I haven't ever been totally satisfied with a haircut or color there and I guess I've learned my lesson and will be moving on. I give two stars because the person who does my eyebrows is very professional and does a good job every time and actually LISTENS to me when I tell her what I want. more

Thumbs down... 7/26/2010

I really don't know how many of you have been to other salons, in other states or Nashville, but there is nothing special about Eden...for sure. I have given them three tries, and they are out. I have sat and listened to two stylists talk about clients that have just left the salon (and it wasn't nice), not had the color put in my hair that I actually brought in the formula from my last stylist (in another state), then walked out of Eden owing them $155 for a middle-of-the-road service/cut/color. I then branched off to another Aveda salon, in Clarksville (which was worse), and now go to Nashville. Having to give them a credit card prior to services is unheard of where I come from. This isn't customer service at it's finest. more

Eden Day Spa great experience 7/14/2010

Around Father's Day, birthday, Christmas, etc., one of my family members will give me a 30min. to one hour massage for a gift at Eden. Each time, I was treated like royalty. They were friendly, prompt, and went out of their way to be courteous, even when I didn't know what I was doing or what to do next. The massage therapists are exceptional, friendly and remember you from the time before. I really look forward to those special occasions when I get to have another massage. I once had my hair cut there too by a new trainee. She was very intricate and thorough. She did a great job. Pros: People very polite, treat you like royalty. Cons: Haven't found any. more

This place sucks big time 6/28/2010

These reviews HAVE to be fake or old, I can't see how they can be true. My experience there was horrible, the staff is so rude and just seem irritated to be at work, and the hair stylist I had messed my hair up bad, but not only that but her and the other stylists in the room were gossiping about another employee that they don't care for too much that wasn't at work that day. Don't go to this place Pros: nothing Cons: rude staff, bad stylists more

It's the better one 11/19/2008

This is definitly the best spa for Clarksville. I have been to a few others, and Eden beats them handsdown. Of course any spa in Nashville would beat Eden. The prices are competitive for Clarksville. I Love the elements facial, Dusty is the BEST! Can't remember my massage therepist's name, as it was nothing special, I left the massage room feeling the same as when I went in.\r I think the graden room could be updated. The couches make me feel like I am at my grandmother's house. They are in great shape, just the pattern is too "victorian" for this spa. All in all, great day of relaxation more

Not Always Relaxing! 10/10/2008

I've been to Eden Day in Clarksville several time and it's anybody's guess if the experience will be tranquil or hustling. Although the staff is accommodating, the business has outgrown the facility. The area around the Spa has grown as well and the spa is nestled amongst Physician's offices, YMCA, KY Fried Chicken and housing developments. There are a few therapy rooms downstairs along with the hair salon. There are a couple of ""meeting rooms"" upstairs as well as a couple of therapy rooms. I am speculating that the upstairs was an afterthought as the business grew. To get upstairs for a second or third treatment, you are led out front into the reception area where the public is purchasing items or gift certificates. You find yourself the only oily person in a robe among the citizens. You could be led up the tiny, spiral staircase that is on an incline much like attic stairs. Be sure to wear underwear as the public watches you ascend up into the second floor area. Pros: Centrally located, fair prices. Cons: Crowded, some rooms unequipped, access to the upstairs facilities. more

great place, try it. 9/29/2008

I worked there for two years..I was a stylist.great place to relax.. Very nice employees, and friends. you'll like it.. GIve it a try! enjoy! good services. more

comment 8/26/2008

Well the cancellation service is for good reasons only. These employees give us great service every single time. They are working as well, as you are, for there income. U know, pay bills.. They are not hourly. So which your confused. they could book someone in your place 24 hours ahead of time, that deserves there quality service. Family practice doctors would have charged you the same even more. They are top professionals of, skin, massage, hair, and nails. They deserve the same respect. High quality is all you recieve from that place. I have had nothing but great quality from Eden Day Spa. Maybe you should show on time, write in your calendar and receive the same quality services that many of the guests have received. Eden day spa is the best salon my family has been to. Pros: great professional services Cons: none just should curtain around stairway more

Relax at Eden 4/27/2008

This spa is a great place to relax, my daughter got a facial and waxing, and she had the best experience ever. We truely recommend this spa to anyone needing to get away. more

Bad customer service and policies 3/2/2008

I will never spend my money at this spa again. They have a very strict cancellation policy; if you do not cancel within 24 hours they will charge your credit card, which you have to provide for an appointment. And I had no problem with this policy until they called me one hour prior to an appointment (that I had scheduled a week in advance) and canceled. And the only compensation they provided was attitude. I can help but find the irony in the fact that a business expects their clients to live up to a standard that they can't match. more

Best spa I have ever been to! 1/15/2008

I have been to 9 or 10 different day spas and always come back to Eden! From the moment I walk in the door until I leave, I feel like the most pampered person in the world! I have always felt like I got way more than my money's worth in my services (have never felt like my time was shorted or that I was getting less that the total attention of my aesthetician). I always make sure I have time before my services to sit by the fire and relax with a good book before my first service. Again, I have been to day spas from CA to FL and Eden is the best! I drive over an hr each way to go there once a month and spend the day! more

Somewhat crowded. 12/7/2007

Visited Eden Day many times but other spas have emerged in Clarksville and prices are competitive. Be sure and ask specifically not to be served upstairs. You will be in your robe and have to walk out front in the reception area where customers are buying products. You get stared at as you walk through. You then have to climb a VERY narrow spiraling staircase to the 2nd floor. If you get any type of foot treatment upstairs, the therapist has to hand carry water from outside your room in a plastic bin that looks like it came from the Dollar Store. Not the most professional or pampered feeling you want for a $40 reflexology.\r Also...make sure that your therapist sets her timer for the beginning of the actual massage. I've watched the clock tick away as they set up their room or end the massage when they have completed the routine massage. If they don't pace themselves, there will be up to 15 minutes left on the clock.\r One major drawback that I would like to make a suggestion (if more

Excellent for hair services 6/1/2007

I've only been for salon services, but the highlights I've had there are the best I've had anywhere (not just in Clarksville) and the prices are decent, too. more

very nice day 6/30/2005

They have many packages to chose from. The building is very nice and the solarium is wonderfully relaxing. If you want to get away for the day of just a few hours this is the place to go to. more

Relaxing Experience 5/25/2005

When you walk in the door you are greeted by the most amazing atmosphere. The quiet music, professional staff, and wonderful smells are worth the trip. Great place for a good massage and facial. more
