Will never recommend this place very unprofessional n unsafe instructor. Didn’t make sure speed limits were followed. And never had permit validated Go elsewhere! more

William H.12/21/2015Edit great teachers and great cars for learning how to drive all my kids have been taught by Echelon all my brothers and sisters were also taught by Echelon they have been around a long time and they aren't the school teachers that would be a conflict of interest wouldn't it more

My child just completed her six hours training for teens and I felt very confident with Echelon. The instructor was patient and helped her so much to drive confidently. I will definitely recommend Echelon to parents in our neighborhood. more

I scheduled my sons lesson they dont show up as promised they dont answer your calls they send people who has old cars and the car breaks down so my son miss his first testing 4 weeks ive been going thru hell the one driver takes my son to camden in the hood to pick upanother student he was very scared I just so many issues with this place. more

I wish I had read reviews about the Echelon Driving School before calling them to teach my teenage daughter to drive. She is 17 and had never had experience behind the wheel. The instructor (Mr Mattel) made her first driving experience living hell, to the point that she does not want to know anything about driving anymore. He never explained the basics to her, lost his patience from the every beginning, was very rude all the time and kept yelling at her instead of calmly correcting her. On one particular street she was driving at 23 mph in a 25 mph zone and he yelled at her that she was holding the traffic. When she increased the speed he told her in a very rude manner that she was going to get a ticket. All in all, it was an awful, traumatic experience for my daughter. Unfortunately I knew all the details after I had given him the check and he was long gone from my driveway. If you want a good advice, avoid this school at all costs. It will save you much more than just money. more

The man on the phone was very friendly, on the other hand the instructor was very nice to the parents, but made the 16 yr. old she was instructing feel very uncomfortable by belittling her performance. There were no words of encouragement, only put downs. If your child is on the shy side and very nervous about driving, Ms. W is not the instructor for them. more

I was interested in driving school so I initially called this place. I wanted to l know how much it would cost for a permit and the six hours. The lady was so nice to me that she recommended I get my permit first because t would save me a lot of money! I paid the 10 dollars to get my permit and I took the test prior to enrolling in the driving school. The person I did my six hours with was very calm and that was needed because i was so scared. Driving was not as hard as I thought it would be more

I was very nervous when I was learning to drive and the instructor from the Echelon driving school was very nice and calmed me down. I was taught very well and safe driving was a very important lesson that was emphasized. I passed my driving test and I am not a nervous driver anymore. I think that a trained experienced instructor is very important. I always recommend this driving school to anyone who is a beginner driver. Their rates are very good. more
