Let me just start by saying that I was very impressed. From the selection to the professionalism of the staff, I was very pleased. They have some great options in place and a warranty that's the best around. Not only were they helpful before the sale, but they are there for you after the sales. After my divorce my options for financing were limited. My credit was damaged and I recently relocated to a halfway house in the area. My case worker referred me to East Side auto and told me she has sent many of her clients there with good results. I called them and explained my situation. They assured me that they understood and could help me out. I didn't have a ride, so they offered to send someone out to pick me up. When I got there I saw a nice selection of cars and was greeted by a nice salesman, Derrick I believe. He helped me pick the right car for me. I was approved for financing without question. I explained that I didn't have a job because I had no transportation, but that I had one lined up. They said that was fine, to just update them when I got one. They really go the extra mile and helped me get back on my feet again. I'm now working again and have my own place again. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anybody. Thanks! :-) more

Nice selection, best in the area in fact. Very helpful. Hard to believe the negative reviews, I'd assume there is more to the story than what is being told. I had a good experience anyway and the service continues after the sale. Very grateful. more

WARNING: DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM EAST SIDE AUTO SALES IN GETTYSBURG, PA. I had multiple problems with them, am returning my car along with complaints to the Better Business Bureau, PA Lemon Law & PA State Attorney General's office.\r I am $130 behind in payments (2 weeks), called them and told them I was mailing in a payment today & would be out Friday & they told me because I threatened to call the state police, I had to have payment in full out today or they were coming to repo the car. I didn't threaten to call the police, I did call the police. more

I have been buying cars at East Side auto sales for 26 years! I bought 5 within that time and I am looking at possibly the 6th! I have been dealing with the same owner the whole time. That should sya enough about the place right there. If ever I had a problem, and lets face, a used car will have a problem at some point, they were always there to help me out. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! more
