Driver's Sports Grill

This used to be a great bar to watch a game at, down some beers and make some new friends. A couple weeks ago I hit it up with my husband and we were harrassed about our team (we're from Boston) the entire time. Not friendly harrassed--like what are you doing here? you guys suck, go back to Boston--it was aggressive and just really uncomfortable. Not going back. more

The good old sports bar and neighborhood hangout is back in business, under new ownership and it just makes me miss the old bar more. Food=okay, beer selection=typical. Overall, not worth a visit. more

The Owner, Ian, had some issues and it resulted in the closing of Driver's. What was once a food and drink service industry and local golf enthusiast favorite, is now waiting for new ownership to step up, get a liquor license, and bring back the glory. I was married there on the patio in 2004 (divorced in 2008), I've dropped trou during one of the annual beach parties, and I've karaoked with the best of them. They used to have karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights. Since the owner fired the karaoke guy, it just hasn't been the same. It's sad really because it was such a fun place to go. :( Pros: Good food, decent prices more

I have not eaten here, but only been between the hours of 8pm and 2am. I have been to this bar approximately 6 times, and will go back. I like that they have a patio and good dartboards and pool tables. they jukebox is ok, ( be careful at the end of the night,.. they will turn it off in the middle of your fav. song ! ). for the most part, you'll get taken care of on the common drinks. however, don't ask for an adios mother f*cker, because they will tell you they know how to make it and give you some blue glass of garbage. they don't make good long island iced teas either. it has been super slow the past few weekends also. due to location, i will not give up on driver's though. i will just stick to beer when i do go. Driver's is a very friendly place where you can get great food at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is geared around car racing and golf, hence the name Driver's. If you want to see cool racing memorabilia, this is the place. The walls are lined with bashed in stock car hoods and fenders. You'll also see cars hanging from the ceiling and autographs on the wall. The menu is awesome. I recommend the Johnny Fire chicken wings (not for amatures). The new BLT is great too and if you like prime rib, you can't beat the special on Saturday night. It's my favorite place to go after a round of golf and it's the best place in the West Valley to watch football. more

Drivers is the only bar in the West Valley near the Air Force Base that isnt some corporate lunch bar like Applebees or Chilis-- The decor is awesome and the bartenders are great!! The food is excellent and it is a great date bar-- you can watch the game, have some drinks, and enjoy a nice atmosphere. Drivers is one of the friendliest, coolest sports bar in the West Vally....the food is great, it is family friend for dining, and wet and wild for adults in the evening. Pros: friendly service, Ian is TOO COOL, good food & drink more
