Dr Susan Poncy

If I could give negative 5 stars I would. I should have known it was going to be a bad experience when the receptionist was rude and cold. Then the assistant that weighed me and took my blood pressure was practically hostile in her demeanor toward me. Then Dr. Poncy came into the exam room with an attitude and a chip on her shoulder. She didn't even ask how I was, said she would no longer prescribe my medicine and that I should go to the "age management" doctor who was prescribing my hormone replacement therapy for any problems I may have. She treated me like a drug addict for my .5 mg per day of Xanax and low dose ambien for my insomnia. I have never been so insulted or treated in a less caring manner. I can't believe this lady has any patients whatsoever. I can't imagine paying to be treated like that. I will never go back there and will not refer her to anyone foe their healthcare. more

I love Dr. Poncy! She took care of me during my second pregnancy, and I have had annual visits with her for the last 6 years. She is thorough, efficient, and very concerned. She always remembers me and seems happy to see me - she is never impersonal. I recommend her to everyone who asks for a referral to an OBGYN!!!! I trust her wholeheartedly! more

Dr Poncy's office and staff are totally the worst for any woman who is not pregnant. Dr poncy has no time to spend or listen to you as a patient they are all about the insurance and money her staff couldn't careless about patients they are a chop shop in and out no feeling setup!.. go to any other doctor and office! more

Dr. Poncy is a hardworking and dedicated professional. she is warm and caring, but also goes above and beyond the call of duty to answer questions and take your concerns seriously. Plus her papsmears are quick and relatively comfortable. GREAT STAFF ALSO!! more

Dr. Poncy is the best doctor I've ever been to. She never makes me feel stupid for asking questions. And, she returns phone calls!! Can you believe it? I called in with a question about a prescription during the hour the office was closed for lunch, expecting a nurse to call me back, which would have been completely fine, but it was Dr. Poncy who returned my call. I think I like Dr. Poncy so much because she makes me feel as though she realizes that the health care industry is actually a service industry. She doesn't make you feel like she's doing you a favor by showing up for an exam which, sadly, a lot of doctors do. more

Dr Poncy is very professional and she actually seems to care about me and my family. She always asks how the kids are doing and still has time to chit chat before ... well you know. When I was pregnant with my first child, at each of my prenatal visits, she assured me that everything was fine and helped calm any fears or anxieties about the delivery process. I felt totally comfortable with her as my doctor and when it came time for baby #2, there was no one else I would trust to take us through the delivery. more
