The Service Department told me I needed new brakes. A few weeks later I took to a Firestone and they told me the brakes did not need replacing and they could not replace in good faith. Don Hewlett service lied about repairs needed. The quote for the brake repalcement was also 40% more expensive than competitor's price. more

Dont' go anywhere else! 12/26/2011

After going to 2 other chevy dealerships (gatesville & killeen) I went through the internet and made the vehicle i wanted online. Aric from Don Hewlett called (everyone else emailed with short 2 sentence answers) and was very nice. I went in the next day, found the exact car i wanted, got $4k more for my trade in than anyone else, and on top of that an amazing deal. I will never go anywhere else again. My husband and i went back 2 days later and actually go another car from Aric as well. Everyone was ridiculously nice and made us feel like we were had known each other for years. Karl helped us sign the papers and get a great APR with a lender. Thank you guys so much for helping us out painfully and quickly. You guys are awesome! more

Great experince at Don Hewlett Chevrolet! 7/11/2011

I searched the Internet looking for a good quality used vehicle with a good to great mpg rating. Until i came across the listing for our now really nice 2007 Ford Focus SE listed on the Internet by Don Hewlett Chevrolet in Georgetown Texas I had not found anything that i was really interested in. This car is very clean inside and out and gets great mpg. This car has a lot of extras.\r \r I e-mailed an inquiry and Eric Reil-Internet Sales contacted me shortly about my inquiry. He was very courthouse, friendly and answered all my questions. I made an appointment for the next Wednesday. When i arrived at the dealership all that i came in contact with were very courteous. The receptionist paged Aric and he came right out to greet me. He was very courteous and friendly. He showed me what i came to see and test drive. The test drive was really great. I really wanted this car! I told Aric what I would pay for this car. I really did not think it would happen since they were already quit a bit below Kelly Blue Book. Aric said that he would would take it to management and see if a deal could be made. Not long after he left he came back and told ,with an extended hand, That we had a deal. From there it was basic paper work. I can not express enough how friendly, courteous and professional everyone i came in contact with was. It was a great and memorable experience. When i picked up the car later that day the dealership detailed and put a half tank of gas in the car. Again, this was a great and i hope to buy again from this dealership. \r more

Highly Recommend Don Hewlett and Cory Reedy! 5/17/2011

Cory Reedy at Don Hewlett in Georgetown did a fantastic job facilitating the purchase of our new Suburban. Cory's work-ethic and dedication to his customers was like none I've seen before. I researched dozens of vehicles and dealerships, and sent online inquiries to various dealers one evening. Cory not only responded the same evening I sent my questions, but no dealer put half the effort into their reply. I couldn't believe how thorough it was - he'd obviously put time and thought into finding a truck that would be right for us, based on the information I'd submitted. He not only provided the most applicable vehicle choices, but went even further to extrapolate from my criteria...and what else might meet our needs. This brought my attention to features and optional packages I wasn't aware of or hadn't previously considered. And I hadn't even come in for a test drive yet. Mr. Reedy was professional, supportive, considerate and incredibly patient while I contemplated the vehicle and features I wanted. He maintained constant contact - determined to find a truck best suited to us, without being pushy or aggressive. Additionally, the dealer's reputation, professionalism, quality of sales and service departments, efficiency and long-term customer satisfaction in the community was critical as well. Don Hewlett - from sales, finance, and service has been exceptional. I want to thank Cory, for his belief in his products, his respect for my needs, and his confidence that he could make those two come together. I can't recommend Don Hewlett Chevrolet and Mr. Reedy highly enough. We love our new truck! p.s. Later I took my truck to the dealership when some install material was left behind after upgrading the tires. No one was available to clean it that busy Friday, so Cory took it to the back and detailed the exterior of the Suburban himself. In nice clothes - on his lunch hour. I was shocked!!. Thank you!! Definitely would recommend them! more

Horrible Service and Support 1/14/2011

The dealer sold me a brand new Silverado with a faulty transmission. I took it to another dealer first...they had my truck for a month in the shop. I then brought it to this dealership since the other could not figure it out and I had purchased from Don Hewlett. It was not until I demanded to speak with the BBB contact there did I get the manager of the Service Department to discuss this situation. The first suggestion was to replace components of the transmission. On a BRAND NEW truck?\r \r The complete transmission was finally replaced. By now, i've not had possession of my brand new truck for over 2 months. Original symptoms were reduced, but there was a problem which still persisted. I took it back in recently to have it checked out. The only changes made were to install a K&N air filter and a Flowmaster exhaust...do you realize how many trucks have such simple modifications? Don Hewlett would like to blame those modifications on the tranny problems. More so, if I paid for the stock system to be placed back on and the problem persists, they denied to pay for my costs. Do they not stand by their product and what they're selling?\r \r GM Support was absolute junk as well...the representative provided absolutely no support or offered any assistance either. Don Hewlett also denied assistance with contacting GM representatives.\r \r The service and support attitude at this dealer is poor at best. I have never left the shop with the feeling that they are willing to go above and beyond to resolve the product defect for me as a customer. I do not know how this dealer has an A+ for their BBB rating, but there is no doubt BBB will be hearing from me on this business.\r \r Stay AWAY! more
