Pretty sweet deal they have going on for themselves-write a citysearch review and get a referral point, 2 point=free haircut, 5 points=$100 service. After going there and having a horrible experience I now see the ONLY reason this had 5 stars-who wouldn't want free services. This is a horrible way to do business, it is dishonest, don't believe a thing you read that is good about them! They messed up my appt time so I had to wait for 20 min for a wax, THEN I had to wait 30 min for the stylist because she was late! The receptionist asked everyone except me if they wanted something to drink. The girl that did my brows did not say 2 words to me, then did more plucking than waxing! I barely even got a trim let alone a haircut, she did nothing to my hair except make my bangs look shorter! Staff is snotty and not friendly at all! I was there for 3 hours for a wax and haircut-you must be kidding-this place is a joke do not go here EVER! more

The spa was a very welcoming environment. It's hidden so make sure you pay attention to signs. Once you walk in the front desk is very helpful. I received a wax by Stefanie and she was really friendly and made me feel comfortable. Overall very nice and clean. more

I decided to try Di-Zin (pronounced "Design") after it was recommended to me by a friend and Hayley had cut also cut m hair at her previous salon. Di-Zin is in a much nicer location near plenty of outdoor fountains and some convenient places if you want to grab lunch or a drink. The salon is BIG and there are plenty of sylists to choose from but Hayley really knows her way around a salon. She first asks you what style you are thinking of trying, is a great listener, and will make recommendations if you ask her to. Then she delivers on a great and reasonably-priced cut including shampoo, etc if you like. You can't go wrong with Di-Zin and Hayley! Pros: Location, Service, Everything Cons: It does get busy, appointments recommended more

I have had soo many bad hair cuts throughout the years and had conformed myself to mediocre service and hair because I did not want to go through the hassle. I was referred to Dizin by a friend and have been cutting my hair there for 3 years. I love the salon, staff and especially Becca. Everyone is so nice and the salon is full service. Dizin is a first-class salon. It's in a beautiful setting, it's convenient and easy to get to, and they do really good work. My first visit last month was enjoyable, and I am going tomorrow for a haircut and facial. Highly recommended. Ambia did a great job on my hair. I have been at loyal patron of Di-zin salon for 8 years! The aestheticain there named Felicia is amazing, so much so that I reccommend her to ALL of my friends and have converted them over! We all love and adore her and she does amazing work. She always makes me feel comfortable even in the most intimate of times :) I've NEVER been dissappointed with her work and will be a client of hers for life! Pros: Awesome Staff! I tried Diz-in Salon about 3 months ago based on a couple of reviews I read and I am soo soo glad that I did. I had becca as my stylist and she completely read my mind on the kind of cut I wanted and did magic on my hair. She was so thorough and amazingly detailed with every snip of hair she cut away to form my coif. I would marry that haircut if I could! THe cut was reasonably easy to style and earned me many a compliments from friends and strangers alike. I have another appointment scheduled with becca soon and I can't wait to see what we'll do to my hair this time. I also got my brows waxed by stephanie and she spent a good amount of time making sure they were perfect. Their online appointment system is great as well, very convenient. Over all the salon is great, and ridiculously affordable. If you're new in town and not sure where to go or if you're in need for change, do try Diz-in. You won't regret it. more

I have lived in Tempe since 1994, and have tried a variety of salons for my difficult-to-manage, curly hair. Never have I been more satisfied by my experience with Ambia at Di-Zin Salon. Ambia cuts and colors hair just like a true artist. Not only that, but she is also co-owner of the salon. I really appreciate her warmth, fun personality, intelligence, honesty, and sense of humor. She always asks me for my opinion, and is willing to offer hers (because I trust her implicitly to take care of my hair). I leave the salon every time feeling renewed and proud of my hair. As long as Ambia is willing to cut and color my hair, I will show up. I highly recommend Ambia and the salon for quality service. Pros: Quality of cut and color from my stylist, staff helpfulness, atmosphere, parking Cons: None more

Being new to Phoenix area I was researching salons and found Di-Zin's. The ease of making an appointment online and being able to get in right away I was extremely happy with the ease of making appointments. I had no idea who would be good stylist and decided Lauren was who I would go with. When I got to the salon it was very nice inside and the receptionist were fantastic. When Lauren came to get me I was excited she had the hair style that I was looking for - very up to date and fun. I had a great experience with her. I also had a wax appointment with Stephanie she also was very nice and made me feel comfortable. I really enjoyed my experience and cannot wait to get back there. The salon and staff are all wonderful and highly professional. The customer service was amazing for AZ overall! Pros: Ambience Cons: Located in the back of sweet tomatoes I was slightly confused more

I have been going to Di Zin for about 8 yrs now. Andrew is my hairsylist and he is fantastic!! His cuts and colors always turns out great. I have never used any of the other services but I have just made an appt to have a facial done there. Di Zin is definitely the spa salon that everyone should go to. The products are great and cheap! Going to a new salon is always a nightmare for me -- I dread it so much that I'll let my hair go for 6 months or more before getting a cut! I've seen more hair stylists than I'd like to admit. When I read reviews about Di-Zin, I was hopeful yet skeptical. I recently got a cut and hi-lites from Becca and I am thrilled! My hair looks better than ever and I LOVED the salon. I just wanted to drop a quick note to thank Dizin Salon and especially Heather Ann for my fantastic hair! I haven't had a hair cut and color that made me feel so good EVER--and I've been coloring my hair since I was 11 years old! This was my first time to your salon and only my second or third time visiting Heather Ann, but she is phenomenal! I was able to bring in some pictures (which many stylists are not at all receptive to) and she was able to give me the best hair cut and color! I have never received so many compliments on my hair either! It's fabulous! So thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you!!!! They use Aveda products, which are my favorite, but the prices for services are a lot cheaper than they are at the official Aveda Studio salons. I've had three different stylists for haircuts there, two of which were fantastic. The other one was fine, but I could tell she had a little less experience and confidence. There are a ton of really nice people and GREAT stylists there, though, so if you do happen to get one you are not as confident in on your first try, feel confident in trying again! Pros: Great stylists, Aveda products, nice atmosphere Cons: None! more
