Pleasant Diversions Little tykes (3-7 years of age) can make Disney's Oceaneer Club (a large play area with an assortment of supervised activities) their home base for fun. Activities include Mouseketeer training, how to swing like Tarzan, a musical sea search, Professor Goo's magical experiments and the "Dance of the Seven Dwarfs." The fun culminates in the "Discover the Magic" farewell show, where parents get to watch their children perform in the 975-seat Walt Disney Theatre along with a very special guest (wink! wink!). Disney counselors are on-hand at all times in the play area, so parents need not worry. In addition, parents are issued pagers so that contact is never lost. Pleasant Diversions Older kids (8-12) will want to indulge themselves in the imaginative realm of the Oceaneer Lab. Fun with science is the theme as they learn how to make "Flubber"-like goo, produce sound effects, build sailing vessels made of soap and learn the secrets of Disney animation. Pooling Resources Of the three swimming pools on Deck 9, the one with the water slide and the Mickey logo emblazoned on the bottom is considered the "kiddie pool." Goofy's Family Pool can be enjoyed by all. Nighttime Fun Before tucking them off to bed, head over to Studio Sea, which bills itself as a nightclub for families. If the kids aren't nodding off, take in one of the many shows playing at the Walt Disney Theatre like "Voyage of the Ghost Ship."
