DON""T BUY YOUR CARPET HERE! When I first found out about this company, I called Charles and he immediately came out to my house. He is quite the charmer and made a great first impression. Unfortunately, that was only a first impression and the charm wore off quick! He had to make several trips out to our house before we could finally get the carpet that we wanted from him because he kept forgetting to bring samples of what we told him we wanted. Once we finally ordered the carpet, it took the company forever to get the carpet installed. Charles mis-measured the space that we were carpeting and therefore, the carpet came in and there wasn't enough of it and the order was wrong. I could go on and on about all of the mistakes that were made by him, Derek (his store manager), the installers, and the company overall. What a JOKE! I don't know how this company is even in business. We had to call them so many times to follow up on our carpet and to get it installed. Did I mention that the company overcharged us by $500? Well, they did and we of course had to call Charles to get that fixed as well. AWEFUL, AWEFUL, company. I agree with the other reviewer...this company is completely unethical as well as incompetent. Everyone that we came into contact with in this company was completely incompetent. I really do not understand how this company stays in business. I am all for supporting independently owned businesses, but the next time I order carpet, I am definitely going to a well established ""big box"" company like lowes or home depot. Company's like Discount Carpet Outlet give smaller independently owned company's a bad name. more

The carpet began to fray three days after the install and after three attempts to get the seller out to fix it (they failed to show up for their appointment three times without calling or notification) they liquid nailed it back together creating a worse looking spot than before. No customer support from Mohawk carpet (said this falls under normal wear and tear) and they refused to do anything about the ribbons that are coming up. Charles, the owner of the shop does not return calls and when contacted berated my wife on the phone for asking them to take care of the problem. We are currently engaged in taking them to court as they are not standing up to their service warranty or the warranty on the product. Do NOT shop here!\r \r They also littered the yard with nailing strips, razor blades, and cigarette butts after the install and left scraps of padding everywhere in the driveway. The worst service and company I have ever dealt with - bar none Pros: they were close to home Cons: terrible product, poor install, no customer service - no reason to shop from here again more
