Dick's bar is a great place to go for a cheap and tasty lunch. Each day they have a different lunch special. There lunch special is $5. On St. Patrick's Day they have all you can eat Corned Beef as well as some side dishes. The staff is friendly and it is easy to get in and out of during your lunch hour. more

Good for the young 7/31/2005

Dick's is a popular LaPorte hangout that usually has a DJ on weekend evenings. They also have a karaoke night. This bar is popular mostly with people in their early 20's, although some older people do hangout here.This bar is known as a meat market and popular pick up joint. It's also known for some occasional fights. I guess it's worth a try if that's your scene. more
