We stayed at the Desert Palm for one night.. It was pretty much as I had expected. The location is awesome. Right off the boardwalk near the rides. The things that weren't so great were the cleaniless of the room and the free breakfast. more

We loved our stay at the Desert Palm.The service was second to none. The staff goes out of there way to keep you happy and are very accommodating. Will not stay anywhere else on the New Jersey shore. more

We had two rooms on the second floor the view-comfort etc. great clean rooms good service great location good value very friendly management great for the family vacation they did alot of work on the inn free breakfest big inprovement all new railings &steps great job pool is great wish it was open later than 9pm i would say come one come all thank you-- more

Just came back from the shore, the location of the Desert Palm to the beach is amazing,along with the comfortable clean accomadations,it made for a geat early summer vacation more

I've stayed at different hotels along the Jersey Shore (Seaside Heights/Seaside Park). This is by far the best place to stay. Stayed in September. Already booked for June and July. Clean, friendly staff, hot pool, hot showers. Just fantastic. The Inn is across the street from the Boarwalk, beach, stands and rides. You can't beat it. more

It was a really nice place to just sleep. If you plan at being at the beach or going places all day during the day then i highly recommend it. Its a smaller sized room but with the beach right across the street who needs to stay in the room or go in the pool that's there. The bathroom and the room itself were both really clean and well taken care of. more

The location was great.The board walk and beach is right across the street. You could literally never move your car from the parking lot because everything is within walking distance. It is an older motel but it has recently undergone renovations. It was no 5 star motel but it had the basics. Large bed, flat screen tv. The rooms don't have phones but I didn't need one (This is the cell phone era you know). The owners were real nice. They even let me keep my car in the parking all afternoon on the day I checked out. I was only there over a weekend so I didn't get in the pool but it looked very clean and inviting. Bring your own hangers to hang your clothes. more

I am 16 years old and the typical reason to head down to seaside is to party it up. I was very picky about where I wanted to stay and my friends choose here. We really had no trouble with the parting, and the bathroom. more

There was so much to do 7/22/2010

Desert Palm? It should be called Desert Oasis, Its that nice. We woke up early to coffee and donuts at the tiki bar. Took a quick dip in the HEATED pool and then the beach all day. We came back took a shower then off to the Boardwalk! more
