contacted in 2004 about a malpractice case Paul said he would take it on, and it would be a few years before a settlement. I spent my own money on doctors to provide evidence for the case. In 2006 I was mailed paperwork to fill out and return. I waited almost a year before I began calling the office to inquire about the case. It was months of leaving messages before i was able to speak with an assistant who knew nothing. In 2008 after leaving messages every week for months, another new assistant set up a time for Paul to call me. In that conversation Paul stated it was "in the insurance companies hands and it shouldn't be more than 18 months till a settlement would be reached." after 12 months I again began calling and leaving messages. This went on for months, untill I demanded to speak with someone about my case. Yet another new assistant got on the phone with me, again having no information. When I demanded to see my case file, Paul himself got right on the phone. He said he would look into my case and call me back in a week. This was in November 09. I never heard back from him. in Jan, 2010 I started calling a couple of times a week. In the middle of Feb. I explained to the receptionist that i had been leaving messages for years and not had anyone return my calls. Pauls father Tom then got on the phone, and asked about my case. I explained everything to him and he stated "It looks like there might have been some neglect on our part. The last action that was taken on the case was in 2006 when we mailed the paperwork to fill out. I'll look into this and send you something in writing." A week later I received a letter from Tom stating that someone in the office noted my case was not worth pursuing and had been marked closed. When I called the next week and demanded to speak with someone, another new assistant had no clue about anything and said Paul would call me. When he did he said what his father ment was that a witness had moved out of state and if I wanted to pursue the case I would have to retain another.
