Wonderful full-service salon! 12/3/2010

Dawn's Pizzazz is an upscale salon that offers every service imaginable! \r I have gone there for several years and may I say that Suzanne is just fantastic! :) She just gave me the Brazilian Blowout smoothing treatment with keratin - my hair is amazing now! :) I had really difficult curly hair and now it's smooth and silky. Takes me just 10-15 minutes to blow dry out and no need to even use the flat iron anymore. What a relief! \r You will enjoy your experience at Dawn's from the comfortable waiting area filled with awesome goodies for your hair and fashion accessories, to the designer shampooing room, and wonderfully appointed spa rooms! \r Dawn's is a real treat! more

Must See Laura! 11/30/2010

I get my haircut at Dawn's Pizzazz by Laura Schramm and the haircut is always amazing. Laura always does a great job styling my hair afterwards and is funny, personable and a wonderful stylist. My mom and sister both go to Laura for haircuts and we all get tons of compliements on our hair after leaving the salon. more

Dawn's Pizzazz Salon is the BEST! My 'hair-apist is Patti. She is very creative and really listens to my color/cut requests. The last haircut/color really turned heads! (Even my husband was impressed with his 'new' wife). There's nothing better than to recommend Dawn's and especially Patti. In additition, the salon offer excellent services and the staff is always friendly! more

I THOUGHT I had to Settle for average! 11/9/2010

I have spent the last seven years traveling to Ridgefield from the Danbury area to get my hair cut and colored at a "High End" Salon. I never truly LOVED my hair and would leave the salon disappointed. I was disappointed in not only the time and money I spent but also in thinking I had to settle for a mediocre haircut. That was up until I was referred to Dawn's by a friend. I was extremely nervous - while I never really loved my hair it was all I knew..The thought of trusting someone new was scary.. - That was until I sat in Jeton's chair. From the start he took the time to listen to my concerns - I truly felt like he understood my "hair issues!" I walked out of the salon completely elated! I immediately called my sister and said "OH MY-I cant believe it I love my hair.. I am so happy and thankful that I found this place..." Thank you Jeton and the staff at Dawn's - my next appointment is already scheduled for right before Christmas and I can't wait! more

Dawn's Pizzazz Experience 11/6/2010

Laura has been doing my hair since I was in high school and I would never let anyone else! She is an awesome hair stylist and great at highlights. I get complements on my hair color all the time. Laura is always upbeat and makes you feel comfortable right away. She is very professional and listens to exactly what you want her to do with your hair. more

I've getting my hair cut and highlighted by Sandy at Dawn's for over 5 years. Each time I get my hair done I love it better than the last!! I've never had a bad experience and feel very welcome and comfortable from all the staff. Sandy is a well trained, professional stylist and I value her suggestions and ideas. If you're looking for a great haircut and color I highly recommend going to Sandy! more

A Wonderful Place! 10/1/2010

I have been a client at Dawn's Pizzazz for over 4 years and I cannot imagine going anywhere else in the northern Fairfield County area! Dawn herself is approachable and very caring, is careful with the staff she hires and the products the salon and spa carry, which is important to me. Carmelo has been doing my hair since the beginning, and Barb, who is the Spa Director, gives the most wonderful facials, I should have them more often! Most importantly, Dawn is an example for all of us, and other small businesses in the community. Her dedication to charitable causes is unparalleled and she is tireless in the efforts she and her staff support. I will be leaving the area in the next 6-9 months, and I am sad to think of not being a client of Dawn's Pizzazz. For now, I'll just enjoy! more

Brides beware! 9/27/2010

I was a part of a bridal party that went to Dawns for hair/make-up; although the work the girls did was wonderful and the prices reasonable what happened when we went to pay was horrifying. One of the girls in our party had to cancel her appointment last minute (her 3 y.o. was ill) and she did not attend her hair/make-up session; when the bride was paying her bill they tried to charge her for the girl that cancelled her appointment!! (after the group of us had already spent close to $1000) - Needless to say she was more than upset and after some words they decided to drop the charge but I could not believe they did this to her on her wedding day! In their defense they did drop the charge but needless to say - Brides beware of that contract and girls that cancel because these people have no mercy. more

Best gift my son ever got me !! 9/21/2010

I have been going to Dawn's Pizzazz for a few years now and I can't say enough good things about it. It's a truly unique place that hire only the best in the business. I started off going there with a gift certificate from my son and it was one of the best gifts he ever gave me. I never miss my 6 wk appt. with Sandy, who is great. I've never tried anyone else but I can see their work and I must say I have never seen anyone who didn't look great when they left. I have never had so many people rave about my haircut - even weeks after I've had it done. You won't be disappointed if you give it a try. more

Dawns Pizzazz is the BEST!! 9/14/2010

I used to travel to New Jersey and back (2 hours each way) to get my hair done because I have extremely thick, long hair and it's not easy to do and I don't trust just anyone. Dawns came highly recommended by someone I trust so I went and I am so happy I did. I've been a client for 3 years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else! Suzanne ROCKS but I am impressed by everyone else that works there as well. I get highlights and a hair cut so I am there long enough to see several people come and go and I love their work! more

Never -ending Complements 9/2/2010

My most recent appointment at Dawn`s Pizzazz was for a cut and color and let me tell you... my hair never looked so good. I loved it from the moment I saw it! The color was rich, my hair was smooth and shiny, and the cut made me even more radiant. Everyday since that appointment I recieved at lease one complement on my hair. For a forty year old woman who often feels I have passed my prime, Dawn's Pizzazz has been a Godsend! Dawn and her staff have made me feel young, stylish, and PRETTY again! Dawn's Pizzazz is one of the most professional salons I have had the opportunity to visit. The staff is by far one of the most talented and professional teams I have ever encountered. Although I no longer have the true pleasure of doing busienss with Dawn, solely due to my decision to change jobs, I continue to return and have my hair serviced by this incredible team. Received a Spa Day pkg recently & had facial, massage, mani/pedi, makeup and hair wash/ blowdry.\r \r Parking was difficult/ icy due to recent storms but I chalked that up to CT weather. If I were 80 yrs old, I wouldn't have gotten out of my car for fear of breaking a hip. Upon entering, the salon was buzzing and I was greeted with a smile by the several people gathered near the desk. The foyer was dirty, though, and the rug was tattered. I was struck by how UNpretentious the staff was, immediately made to feel welcome and went upstairs to the 'Spa' area... heeding the caution sign to be quiet. \r \r My facial was very nice, though I've only had 3 in my life. The technician was warm, chatty, but not too much, and made me feel welcome still.\r \r The massage however started late, ended on time, and I felt as if the masseus was too worried about my modesty: my lower back and upper thigh was missed entirely. Dawns Pizzazz (An exclusively educated salon) 3/5/2006

My first visit to Dawns Pizzazz was about one year ago. Besides being professional the staff was very warm and friendly. A first impression usually says it all. I had heard advertisements on a local radio station 98Q and they also came highly recommended from a few different people I had spoken to. My hair is naturally curly and product means everything. If you are not aware by now a salon that is educated will be able to direct a client to the correct product choice. There are a lot of great products out there but we (meaning the public) need to know what products will help create the same results at home as we get in a salon setting.(You ladies know how it is!) We love our hair the day of and then when we try styling it ourselves it doesn't quite look the same as it did there,because of old habits and cheap or wrong product choice.
