Definite contender! 10/21/2011

Always check out more than one Senior community when looking for a loved one. We were very impressed with the community...rooms are nice, staff always smiling and involved, they knew the names of the seniors that we'd pass during the tour and the seniors knew her (Charmaine's) name. Very nice place, easy access from the freeway, beautiful grounds. Be sure to visit before making a final decision! A definite contender! Pros: null Cons: null more

Concerned Daughter 4/22/2011

We visited several senior communities in many areas, including the Bay Area, Stockton, Manteca, and Modesto. Dale Commons always came out on top. We found the staff (particularly Charmain) to be extremely caring and attentive. The residents are equally as welcoming and friendly. The building and grounds are beautiful, and the community is pet friendly. The food may not have been as top notch as some of the other communities, but that wasn't a deal breaker. My mother is so happy there. She participates in daily activities, and goes on bus trips. I feel like she is in good hands. I can't say enough good things about the place. more

Dale Commons is the Best! 4/21/2011

We visited several senior communities in many areas, including the Bay Area, Stockton, Manteca, and Modesto. Dale Commons always came out on top. We found the staff (particularly Charmain) to be extremely caring and attentive. The residents are equally as welcoming and friendly. The building and grounds are beautiful, and the community is pet friendly. The food may not have been as top notch as some of the other communities, but that wasn't a deal breaker. I Would Not Recommend This Facility 5/13/2010

We moved my mother from a very nice Senior Living center in Stockton CA (O'Conner Woods) to Dale Commons to be closer to our family. Dale Commons looks good from the outside but the meals served and the quality of care does not come close to O'Connors Woods. As my mother's need for additional care increased is was evident that the staff is ill equiped to provide quality care. The service director (Aarti Jattan) was especially difficult to work with. Dale Commons vs O'Conner Woods (Stockton) 5/11/2010

We moved my mother from a very nice Senior Living center in Stockton CA (O'Conner Woods) to Dale Commons to be closer to our family. Dale Commons looks good from the outside but the meals served and the quality of care does not come close to O'Connors Woods. Service director Aarti Jattan does not follow through in a timely manor when asked to take care of certin matters. She knods her head and smiles but does not follow through. Once my mother past away and they stopped receiving over $3,000 per month the staff rearly turn against our family! There are staff members & residents that are very nice there but then there are others that just do not truely care. I would give 2-1/2 stars compaired to O'conner Woods more

This is a new facility and immaculately kept. They are friendly and helpful and willing to go out of the way to provide the service you need. They offer many different plans depending on your abilities. more
