Tried Da Pits for dinner last week for the first time in a while. What a great experience. The food is still great, especially the seafood soup and ribs, but there must have been an upgrade in management because the place looked great and the service was awesome. I highly recommend for a casual dinner if you are travelling to the area and want to try something better than the hotel restaurants. Pros: Food quality and service Cons: Just a bit of a drive but worth it. more

My husband and I had our very first date here some 4 years ago. We came here on numerous occasions since. Although the food is normally good, there was a time we came an hour before closing and got soggy rice pilaf and cold food with no taste. The staff acted like we were putting them out. It took us about 1 year and we came back and food and service was excellent. Pros: The ribs are good Cons: Service is awful more

I HAD THE BEST TIME THERE THE ATMOSPHERE WAS GREAT THE SERVICE WAS GREAT AND THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT. THEY HAVE VERY REASONABLE PRICES. i have eaten at da pits quite a few times. i have taken many of my friends there who never had eaten or even heard da pits before. the service is great. i can't say enough about it. the people who work there have become friends to me. and i enjoy seeing them everytime i go there. the best res. of it kind in harrisburg...and the best ribs i have ever tasted..
