Crystal Seas Kayaking

This is the best idea for any vacation. I took my kids for kayaking at sea for their summer break and they could not be more overjoyed. I went for the Crystal Seas Kayaking 3 hour tour and it was simply the best. The scenery is great and the wildlife is simply majestic. Although one may feel nervous while Kayaking with killer whales, but it was a sight worth seeing. The San Juan Islands have relatively unpopulated beaches and it is an adventure to kayak in the clear deep water of the ocean where you can see the most beautiful porpoises. more

Kayaking at San Juan Island is the best for me during my vacation. I have gone on this island in my last vacation with my family. We have enjoyed kayaking and bicycling on San Juan Island with their friendly guides. The San Juan Islands are the hidden gems of the Pacific Northwest because of the great weather, clear deep waters, clean and unpolluted beaches. We have adventured all this in our tour. Besides the incredible scenery and wildlife, their guides are a huge part of why we will love their trip and enjoy our tours. more

My family recently took a kayak trip with Crystal Seas and it was well organized from beginning to end. It was the highlight of our trip to Washington. We saw eagles and seals and saw whales off in the distance. The guide was a ton of fun and we felt very safe with him. It was worth every penny. I hope to go again with Crystal Seas someday. I kayaked with other companies but kayaking with Crystal Seas was awesome because their guides were amazing and love what they do for a living. They have such high praises for their bosses that I know it is a good organization. My guide had been working for Crystal Seas for 4 years. I was initially recommended to Crystal Seas by the bed and breakfast that I was staying at the first time I took a tour. Crystal Seas Kayaking had wonderful customer service when I was planning trip to the San Juan Islands. They picked me up for free once I was there. We were happy to find that we would stay dry because we started the tour on their kayak docks. The naturalist was funny, informative and very entertaining. Their guide grew up on San Juan Island and clearly loved her job and where she lived. We saw so much wildlife I could not believe it. Since then I have booked several other trips with them including a 3 day trip. Our guides are always awesome and make great food! This company is first class and I very highly recommend them to all of my friends. Pros: Thumbs up!!! more

I thought the ""view from the water"" would be a great experience. I took a really expensive..and short trip with Crystal Seas. I take people on photographic trips and was taking a trip to look into good activities and thought despite the high price it must be worth it to be able to paddle out along the coast. We didn't...we paddled around the bay...sort of like a very, very expensive paddle boat ride in the local pond. The reason was the ""currents"". I saw many other trips out around the island that day. I called to express my concern and was told the manager would return my call. He never did and when I called again, I was told that he didn't think my call was worth returning. I would never use this company for any trip and will be vocal with those I share information with. Save your money...take a drive or a hike, you will see as much believe me. \r \r This felt like the biggest rip-off and brush off I have experienced in a long time. I would never use this particular company in any location. Cons: Thumbs down! Do not deliver a good trip for the high price. more
