This section is one of the most beautiful of the islands, well-populated with the local wildlife--not to mention that it's the romping grounds for three local pods of whales.The ExperienceThere are a variety of options, whether you want to kayak for a couple of hours or explore for six days. Three-hour tours (5 miles to 6 miles roundtrip) are available throughout the day. The fantastic sunset tour lets you paddle along as the sun blazes a path on the water's surface. Full-day trips (6 miles to 9 miles roundtrip) let you explore a little more. Nearly everything needed for multiple excursions that last one to five nights is provided, including tents and food.
