When our daughter turned 18, graduated from high school and Martin became increasingly frustrated with the corporate life, we started talking about "after"&after she moved out, after he got to the point where he couldn't stand his job anymore and so on. We had a few ideas, but nothing really clicked until we got the opportunity to take the Motorcycle training course. It was something we'd talked about for years but had never had the time or money to pursue.
Well, we took that course, loved it and, just about a month after taking the course, bought bikes of our own!
Other than the bikes, our first major purchases were our first set of gear and were we shocked! New gear ran from high 2 digit prices up into hundreds of dollars a piece. We didn't want to buy off of Craig's List or E-Bay because you couldn't try anything on so new was the only option.
