When I saw the article on the window about ""Best in St Pete"" I was pleased with our impromptu stop for lunch. After eating our meal---or just looking at it made me wonder who was in the running for this award. Yes, I was seated promptly. In fact, I was ordered to sit down. When I took exception to this, the attitude changed to overkill. I love delis but wouldn't classify the food here as deli--more like grandma slapped a little sandwich together. \r

Pastrami Sandwich-I'll start with a positive; the bread was fresh. Now, yes the bread was fresh but strangely thick especially when there was far less meat than at a real deli. It was more like a bread sandwich. I did order Swiss on this sandwich but it was MIA.\r

Greek Salad-'ve had too many Greeks salads in Tarpon to let this pass as a Greek. It wasn't even a good tossed salad. How weird, broccoli and carrots in Greek salad? And no anchovies? The potato salad on the Greek was hardly edible.
Pros: Parking-We parked right in front of the entrance.
Cons: Food-ingredients and amount.
