It has a park, an awesome pond to feed the ducks, the first minature golf course and a nice golf course. It has a bunch of tennis courts as well to play in. It's situated near the airport and it really is picturesque. It's a great place to relax and take the family for a day. There are plenty of shelter's to reserve for a day to have a family barbeque. more

Great place 12/21/2005

This is the perfect place to have a family outing for the day. They have parks and other areas of interest and you can rent a shelter for the day. The area is beautiful and it's easy to get to. I would recommend this place to anyone and I have actually made many trips to it myself. Great place! more

This is a beautiful area! Located outside of downtown Charleston, Coonskin Park offers a playground, a pong for fishing and paddleboat rides, several rentable shelters for parties and other special events, a public pool, and several sites perfect for weddings and wedding receptions. The areas to check out for wedding would be the outdoor Rose Garden and the indoor Clubhouse. Coonskin also has an 18-hold golf course and a miniature golf course. Prices on everything are very reasonable! Perfect place to take your kids in the warm weather! more
