This is simply the best mexican food and margarita joint you will encounter for miles! I have eaten my fair share of mexican food all over Atlanta and none compares. This place is simply my favorite. Fish taco is to die for and so is the queso. Pure perfection. They just revamped the menu and it's heaven. MUST TRY! Pros: atmosphere, decor, food, staff Cons: far from where I live :( more

Good place to drink margaritas 10/8/2009

my wife and i have noticed the restaurant when we would eat at johnnys pizza, so we decided to give it a try when we didnt have our children. the first thing i noticed when i walked in was the unique decor of the place. the lights in the restaurant are beautiful. the service was great, our server was very helpful explaining the margaritas and food menu. they are generous on their tequilla pours for the margaritas, and the different tacos on their menu were excellent. the manager came and introduced himself to us and asked how everything was. a very friendly place, they made us feel comfortable Pros: great atmosphere with excellent margaritas more

cool spot with good drinks. tons of tequilas i havnt heard of. cool interesting tacos. dessert options were limited and its the only restaurant ive been to without coffee. who cares. ill be back Pros: nice interior, strong drinks Cons: limited desserts, no coffee more

I have discovered that all the reviews are written by employees or by parents of employees. The food taste and portions change from my first visit. Great local tex-mex! 5/5/2009

I'm so glad I found this restaurant! On my drive home from a horrible experience at La Parrilla (stay away!), my girlfriend saw this restaurant. The food is great and the prices are even better! I had the fish tacos and they were tastey! The portions are huge, easily 50% more than other places! I'm gonna have their tapas next time. the table next to me ordered them and looked great! A Gem in My Own BackYard - Con Sal 1/19/2009

I passed by Con Sal everyday, but never thought to stop until I read the reviews and thought I would give it a shot. I have nothing but high praises (and I'm a somewhat food snob - e.g. I don't think you should have to pay an arm and leg to get good food) - the service was great (very attentive), the food better! The salsa was mouthwatering - definitely homemade with a slight kick to it. I had the steak quesadillas as an entree which was perfectly done and presented. This place is perfect for a happy hour, girls' night out, or a date night with my husband. I'm going back soon to try the drinks and try the rest of the menu! Con Sal is a gem in the neighborhood. Margaritas are simly the BEST! 1/7/2009

If this place does not win several awards in 2009 for their Margaritas, something is wrong. The service and food are perfect. The design of the restaurant and the bar puts this place in a class of its own. You must have two margaritas and a few tapas to start. Followed by the fish tacos or beef fajitas(MMMMMM!!!!!!!). Then cap your night off with the chocolate cake thing they have hidden. Not on the menu so ask your waiter/waitress. Pros: Service, food, drinks and music. After 10pm if you ask they will play it. Best Fajitas on 141 1/6/2009

This food was beyond exceptional. It's difficult to find to a good tex-mex restaurant in the Alpharetta, GA area. The menu was full of great choices, ultimately my girlfriend and I decided on ordering tapas and sharing 1 order of fajitas. The service was speedy and attentive. Everything was great and the best part, they always have some sports game playing on TV! Pros: Service, cool decor inside Cons: none! more

wonderful margaritas 1/5/2009

i spend a lot of time here and the food is always good and its great service. the bartender eric is really personable...he always makes me feel right at home. it looks great inside and has an almost downtown feel to it but its only two minutes from my house. the restaurant is about a mile north of the forum next to johnnys pizza. when you come in make sure to order something with steak in it...its the best!! i have never been dissappointed. more

Great Food-Beautiful Bar! 1/4/2009

I came across Con Sal by driving by and taking a chance. My husband and I were with 2 other couples who made me in charge of choosing the destination. I have eaten there twice and I will definitely be back. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere high-class, and the service is great! The interior is unlike any Mexican restaurant I've ever been to-Old World Spain mixed with a contemporary flair. It is a great Friday/Sat. night place for couples or singles to dine, or just to have great drinks at the bar. Music is great coming from a great sound system. Fish tacos are excellent and the steak fajitas fantastic! Bravo to the owners of this new favorite of ours!!! Great dining with a cool atmosphere 1/1/2009

It's always a pleasure to stumble upon great Mexican food. I went to this restaurant and received excellent customer service. The staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. I especially enjoyed the chicken fajitas. It is a terrific spot for a cocktail with friends. The prices are affordable and the atmosphere is ideal for a sophisticated and trendy crowd.
