I just bought a groupon to this wonderful oasis and I am so glad I did. I recommend it highly. Today I received a thorough Chiropractic exam and it was probably the most thorough one I have ever had. I then had a great 1 hour massage and spent an hour in their steamroom. I am looking forward to my exam results and treatments. I';d als olike to try their floatation tank. more

Great chiropractors and Friendly staff, I have been going to this healing center for over a year. I went from being in so much pain that I could not sleep to not feeling any pain, period. Just started coming here this winter and I am glad I did. So much so that I have literally brought about 6 other people in the past few months. My s.o. bought me a sampler gift certificate that included A Chiropractic evaluation, massage, floatation tank session and steamroom and sauna. At the Chiropractic sessions I learned that the pain that I have been having isnt all in my head. I am now on the way to improving my spine and my health with weekly sessions. Seems to be one of the highlights of my week. Both of the Chiropractors are great and for those skeptics, like I was, it is quite enjoyable. Often I have massage combined with my spinal adjustments. . That you Common Ground for such a great place!!! more

I have had lower back pain on and off for yours. I saw Dr. Mantell and within a few visits I have been feeling great and about 20 years younger. I have been receiving care now for a few months and not only is my back feeling better, I can do sports and other fun activities that I have not been able to do for years (at least not without pain for a few days). I am back to playing golf and water sports. Enjoying the summer! Thank you Dr. Mantell and your great staff. I have also received some massages and used the spa steamroom and floatation tank facilitites. You just gotta try it. Great Place! Dr. Mantell is a wise human being who understands what it is to be human, and one of the few doctors I've been handled by who is deserving the prestigious Dr. title. The spine is real, you're held together by yours for the rest of this life, and the benevolent science of its care makes fascinating electric sense. Every morning that I come in, I am given just enough care to teach myself a lesson of complex subtleties. My stress and capacity to help myself (I work in the field of helping others, which until recently I didn't think I could be as totally amazing at doing unless I operated under a premise of selfLESSness) continues to grow, as will my gratitude for this wonderful establishment, I am certain. The clinic is set in a restored Victorian home and is in the Common Ground Everett St. House healing houses. My experience there has always been excellent. I have seen Dr. Mantell off and on over the last several years. He has helped me many times and is an excellent chiropractor and healer. Some people may find him and his place a bit too casual (no tie or clinic jacket, older home) but that works fine for me. He listened and zoned in on what I needed. I have always found the office staff friendly and very helpful and at the spa facility clean and just a gem as well. I have received several excellent massages which have also helped. I was injured in a car accident. Physically I experienced pain, indescribable pain in my rear shoulder area. It was painful to touch. My neck was also in pain but nothing like my shoulder, after recieving treatment from Dr. Mantell and his staff, I feel better. My shoulder very seldom aches. I still have some pain, but nothing I mean nothing, like when I first came. Because of Dr. Mantall's treatments I'm not as grouchy, more active, more family activities. Just able to enjoy life more. Having spent time living in many states, I was a frequent receiver of the Network Spinal Analysis chiropractic care, and it benefitted my health & well-being greatly. I was pleased when I moved to Portland & found a chiropractor who practiced NSA, but after seeing this guy I realized what a total joke he is. He doesn't even begin to follow the Network Protocol, he doesn't even care what he is doing; He spends 5 minutes with you and then charges you a rediculous amount of money for virtually no care. He doesn't want you to get better, he just wants to take your money. He is the first NSA chiropractor I've met who has zero compassion for his patients.....the only time he gave me any attention is when I said I wasn't coming back. It is a very sad thing that he has leeched onto the holistic community as a way to take money from those who are open to natural healing; I consider myself lucky that I have received NSA for years & was able to see through his poor care immediately....I just feel sorry for those who haven't...
