i brought my wedding dress here to have some alterations done. She quoted me 150.00 to bring it up some and tighten the shoulder straps a little. The place I got the dress quoted me the same thing for alterations and pressing. I figured since I had work done here before she was trustworthy and would do a good job. I go to pick it up today and it was extremely wrinkled and STAINED! We calmy told her about the stain and the wrinkles. She turned around and said we bought it in stained! First of all we bought the dress brand new and secondly, I tried it on about three times before handing the dress over. (The stain is right above the right chest area, so could be noticed very easy.) We would have never bought the dress that way. Plus there were dirt lines where it looked like it was laying on a table while she was sewing it. So we asked if she would please remove the stains and quickly steam out the wrinkles. Not a chance!! She argued not only that WE stained it, but that she would not remove the wrinkles without charging us more. We only expected the dress to be returned to us in the condition it was dropped off. Is that to much to ask?? Apparently so. She was completely rude, would not work anything out and ignored up half the time to go to the back of the store and act like she was sick!! I've never witnessed anythink like this in my life. No peole skills at all. I highly recommend you taking your business elsewhere. Don't go through what I did. Especially with something as important as a wedding dress. What ever happened to going out of your way to please your customer?? I thought she would have appreciated our business. I could have easily went elsewhere and had it done for the same price. Well lesson learned. NEVER AGAIN!!! i wish I could give zero stars but I have to give atleast one.
