Cliffside Bagels

If you want good bagels,""GO ANYWHERE ELSE"" but at cliffside bagels you have to settle for some kind of bad bread- like thing that happens to be in a round shape. With three people behind the counter, initially I thought that would mean quick service... I didn't factor in that the staff was more interested in having conversations with themselves and other friends that happened to show up that day. Worst customer service I have EVER had! I'm not sure if ""working extremely slowly with customers"" is a class that is given semi-annually or quarterly. Either way, the classes that the owner/management are giving are very effective as the service couldn't possibly get any slower. And to those who work counter jobs, tips are only for outstanding service. Service Workers explicitly expect tips and change their attitude if one is not given. I will not go out of my way to get anything else from this establishment. I will not recommend them to anyone I know. more

thumbs way down! Argumentative manager and terrible bagels! I never give restaurants bad reviews, but I have to make an exception for CLIFFSIDE BAGELS I actually had to stop myself from gagging on there bagels. Worst I have Ever tasted yet!!!! Been here for 20 mins and still haven't seen my meal. It's not busy and the staff are putzing around behind the counter BSing with each other. I ordered 2 sandwiches. Just got one but they made the wrong sandwich for the other so I get to wait longer. Sweet. I'm the only person in here. I have decided not to go there anymore due to the rude Dirty blonde haired woman who worked the front register. I went there a few days in a row and each time she was even more rude and obnoxious to me. I thought maybe it was just me or she was having a bad week but after mentioning this to some coworkers, they all started chiming in about the horrible customer service and this particular employee. I never want to go back because of their horrible customer service. more
