Clemente's Seafood

Nice place with pretty good food and decent service, our food was tasty but each plate had a small flaw. The salmon had bacon on it but the bacon was barely cooked so un-edible. The steak was ordered medium but was served closer to well. The good thing was that even with these mistakes the food tasted great and was very reasonably price. The decor is a bit cold and industrial looking but there is lots of interesting artwork on the walls. It has a very nice looking bar area but no full time bartender the night we were there so the 2 server on duty were forced to make their own drinks. We will go back at least one more time. more

Clemente's may possibly be the best seafood restaurant on the North Oregon Coast, and will give any seafood restaurant a run for their money. They are committed to supporting sustainable wild fisheries, local organic harvests, and reducing their carbon footprint. The menu is not as extensive as some, but everything is worth eating. Plus, they actually serve good coffee, a rarity in restaurants. I personally believe their speciality is the cioppino, made fresh and not overwhelmed by tomato sauce like most. This is cioppino you would find in Italy, and is not nearly as expensive as most other restaurants. They also have sweet potato fries to die for. Clemente's is worth a drive to the coast if you are looking for an excellent meal at moderate prices. Heck, it is worth the drive to taste the cioppino! Service is good and the lounge area is much more relaxing and pleasant than others in the area. more
