Citrus Heights Saw & Mower

We went to Citrus Heights Saw & Mower to get a pre-bottled gasoline blend designed to protect 2 stroke motors when not in use for long periods of time from damage caused by the new gasoline blends. I asked the ?gentlemen? for the product and was literally scoffed at. One of the ?guys? told me the product did not exist and the other smirked and said I was mistaken because they would know if the product existed given their ?professional ? expertise. They didn?t for a minute stop to consider that I might know something that they didn?t. The product does exist (from what I understand fairly new on the market ? 6 months). I purchased two cans at a local auto parts store. When I called to let them know and discuss their perception of customer service, they told me THEY DIDN?T NEED any new or additional CUSTOMERS. Of course there was more dialogue but it came down to, me the customer, who was the problem. Couldn?t have been their lack of industry knowledge or failure to more

I recently purchased my first house I did not have a lawn mower. what happend was a customer came in The store to trade in there used lawn mower for a new lawn mower so I purchased the used lawn mower for my house. There was no bait and switch or selling on craigslist for more money. Citrus heights mower has been in business for over 45 years by far we are not perfect but we try our best as a business and to make the customers happy. more

I bought and serviced my equipment from another shop for 10 years. When that shop stopped carrying new equipment they referred me to Gary. After several I had bought a few mowers from them they gained my trust and respect. I have had my business 16 years now and wont refer or go to any other shop! All of the employees have advised me on how to get the best for the least amount of money and when it comes to fixing the stuff I break, it has always been done right the first time, on time! No other shop has been able to do that! And I have been to many! more

I have been doing business with Gary at Citrus Heights Mower for more than a decade. I can say without reservation that it is one of the best, most relaible, and most honest plces that I have ever had the pleasure to do business. They do not try to sell me things I don't need or try to sell me the big, expensive, commerical models for my home use. I could go on and on about my excellent experinces. I read the review of the "bait and switch" guy and can only say that I am sure the equipment was left there for pickup and that someone just made a mistake in not putting a sold dsign on it. Give em a break. They could ahve sold the mower five minutes before you walked in and were expecting the new owenr to pick it up then. Gary and his staff will take excellent care of you at a very reasonble cost. Give them a try. more

I have received nothing but the best from Citrus heights Saw & Mower. They have always treated me like a friend and have provided me with great service. All the guys behind the counter have great attitudes and they all really know what they are talking about when it comes to repair and equipment. Citrus Heights Mower is a family and friend operated business and has set a high standard for what has disappeared is this society " customer service ". more

Not very happy with the business ethics of this store. I was shopping for a good used mower recently and when I visited their shop, I spotted among the used mowers on display for sale what I thought was a very good model at an affordable price. I asked to buy it. The clerk instead told me "that one is sold to an employee". That seems like a bait and switch stuff to me. If it is sold, then why is still in the for sale section? I believed this store was customer friendly, but was surprised to find that they sell their used products, even when unmarked as "SOLD" to their employees first while still having on display. I wonder if employees get a discount, then turn around and sell it for more on Craigslist? Sounds like unfair and deceptive business practice to me. more

I run a Landscape Buisness. Sometimes i need new Commercial duty equipment. I go to Citrusheights saw n mower. They cary the commercial duty Toros i need. I called all around they were the cheapest. They always seem to have what i want in stock. The people there are friendly, and they dont pressure you to buy things you dont want. Good prices great equipment in stock. more
