Best

The best Chinese food I've found outside of NYC. And a full bar, too. What more could a nice Jewish girl want? Now, if they're open on christmas, I'm ALL over that!

Worst

During a vacation from New York, we drove for an hour from Palm Beach Shore to this restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale. The seating was horrible. Nobody wanted to sit in the large cente...

I'm sorry, but I think that I can get the same quality of food in other Chinese restaurants for less money and better delivery. I dont like the way they talk to you over the phone. They always sound short and very rude. If I am paying for their food, I would at least expect a little bit of courtesy. Again, the food does not impress me. I prefer to go on a "hole in the wall" Chinese restaurant, were they treat me like family whenever I call or go there personally. more

The ONLY place to enjoy Chinese food in Fort Lauderdale. Always friendly, always great! The steamed shrimp dumplings are as good as my favorite place to eat in NYC's Chinatown. Do I give it 5 stars? NO, I give it 10!! more

Just the best there is when it comes to chinese food with great service and delicious food. Recommend this place to anyone! more

Have eaten my way through the best Asian restaurants in San Fran. LA and Boston and NYC among other places. Christina Wan's consistently satisfies above expectations for many, many years now, dating back several decades and locations. A MUST for Chinese food lovers! more

Went to dinner on a Friday night with my boyfriend. The place was full up with locals who clearly knew Christina. She walked around and spoke with everyone and everyone was calling to her to say hi. The food was really fresh - you could tell it was prepared there in the restaurant and not frozen or out of a can. Good portion sizes and great flavor. We'll definitely be back! more

Saw this restaurant ads on this site and tried it out. So many places like this but for some reason this place stood out to me. First off you get treated very well, the service was quick and the food came out hot and delicious. I will definitely be back soon. more

I just left Christina Wans less than 15 minutes ago and I must say I had the MOST unpleasant experience I have ever encountered in all of my years of dining. I immediately felt as if there was a bit of prejudice in the air, due to the fact that I am an african american male and a white male arrived after I did, but was serviced first and with a gracious smile. I was just escorted (no greeting might I add) by a male server in which he seemed very hasty that my mother who was dining with me did not know what she wanted to eat right away. Lets keep in mind she has never been there before. We decided to start off with the shrimp because of the server whom just stood there as if we needed to hurry and order. After telling him of our selection he made a rude gesture as if he were saying "finally". He then shook his head as he walked away and I young woman by the name of Annie shook her head in agreeance as if we were bothering them because we were indecisive about our menu choice right away. This made me feel very uncomfortable, therefore I felt I needed to voice my opinion. After speaking with Annie, whom had a lax approach as if she didn't care about hearing let alone addressing, any of my concerns. I then asked to speak with a higher authority in which I was told is the actual owner whom happens to not be in today, but will be in tomorrow. I plan to speak with her tomorrow, in hopes of getting a better resolution than I got (or in my opinon, didn't get) today. Nevertheless, Christian Wan's ambiance is nice, but the TERRIBLE customer service and lack of customer concern makes it an easy decision when comes to the question if I will return. Of course the answer is, NO! more

Let's be honest, it's not authentic Chinese cuisine but it's nice, friendly, clean, fast, reasonably priced. I've never had anything I didn't like. I've been lucky enough to travel to China and do realize that Chinese restaurants in Florida are not very authentic. So comparing apples to apples, Christina Wan's is worth a visit. more

We cater food from Christina Wan's for large group meetings. The food is delicious, portions are ample and service is great! I read reviews on her site complaining about the price, maybe you can get it elsewhere for less but you have to compare apples to apples. The shrimp they use in their rice and walnut shimp dish are colossal. The Broccoli Beef has piles of beef. This is the best quality Chinese Food in town! more

I chose Christina Wan's online and it lived up to its good reputation. We were warmly welcomed and shown to a very comfortable table right away. The menu is filled with options, including a number of vegetarian appetizers, soups and entrees. Everything we ordered was so good. Our server was very nice and attentive. An excellent experience all around. more

Ordered the Beef with mixed vegetables and was NOT good quality beef..also menu said dish was with garlic sauce but no garlic taste.\r \r When I told the owner about the poor quality and lack of garlic she seemed not to care about the customers opinion.\r \r So try another Chinese rest for authentic food, not Christina Wan's.. more

I was staying at a local hotel and decided to satisfy a hankering for Chinese food by looking for the highest rated restaurant that would deliver. Yelp, you've done me wrong. The predictable result of having to wait for nearly 1.5 hours was that my food was cold. To add insult to injury, I was still charged a $4 delivery fee. It's like I was paying for my own punishment. Perhaps the best part was when I called, after an hour's wait, to see if my order had been lost: before I could complete my first sentence, the woman on the other end of the phone was yelling at me.\r \r I ordered the Singapore Noodles, which meant that not only was it cold but also dry. Thankfully, I did not include shrimp with the order or else I might have suffered some intestinal distress with the dried pork and stringy chicken.\r \r Chinese food can vary from city to city; still, I can only compare Christina Wan's to what I've had in other cities. And compared to other restaurants, this place is pretty poor. more

Check out the moo shu pork and have the waitress roll the Chinese taco for you - her skills doing it with two spoons is very impressive. The soup to share is very tasty and will serve four, one cup each. The service was great and I will return. more

Editorial review from Urbanspoon 12/14/2010

Nice decor, Ok prices, finely executed entrees counter-balance an uninspired menu filled with cliches and short in authenticity. more

This place used to be much better. It's now overpriced and the food has gone downhill more
