The best Chinese food I've found outside of NYC. And a full bar, too. What more could a nice Jewish girl want? Now, if they're open on christmas, I'm ALL over that!

Beware that you'll get charged more than the prices on their web site. A lot more. We were charged $15 for an entree thats listed there at $12. more

Awesome Food, Fairly Priced 1/16/2010

There is truly a lack of good Chinese in Fort Lauderdale. I will only eat at Christina Wan's. Christina is a very smart articulate middle aged lady who runs a great business. Her husband works in the kitchen and is also a really great guy. The people and the great food make this place a winner. Pros: Owner on site, Kitty (waitress) overall great service more

This place is great! I eat there a lot, and they have REALLY good Chinese food. Try anything with the black bean sauce, the Hong Kong style chicken, or the General's spicy chicken. The owner is always there and always service centered with great food! more

Probably should be $$, not $ (I mean that in a good way). I eat here several times a year and am never disappointed. Old skool seafood soup, authentic duck, great variety and, of course, Christina who is delightful. This family restaurant goes way back to its original location in Miami and is now a wonderful addition to Vicki Park restaurant scene. You could pay 3 times as much on Los Olas, why bother? more

Great Chinese 11/14/2008

I have only had them for lunch, and they are GOOD. The prices for lunch run about $10, and other chinese places offer for less, but it's worth it. The food tastes fresh and the variety is good. They have grill specials as well. more

Warm rushes of wickedly spiced soup slurped from the deep bowls of Asian soup spoons deliver the first hints that Christina Wan's excels at the fine art of spicing. Not only that, but the resident chefs know how to make food look so appealing -- so fragrant, so appetizing -- I've considered asking for one of everything. Bad Atmosphere, Bad Attitude, Average Food 6/13/2007

During a vacation from New York, we drove for an hour from Palm Beach Shore to this restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale. The seating was horrible. Nobody wanted to sit in the large center area because it was so dark. Only few seatings on the side were slightly brighter but soon we found out the space between table and seat was so tight that we couldn't barely move or breath. We required a table switch. The old waiter/or manager wasn't too happy about it. We waited 10 minutes for the menu and finally got our food ordered and later served. At the end we paid the bill and asked the old waiter to pack our food. He was very unhappy. When he returned to hand me the bagged food, he gave me a terrible look of his face. I said 'thank you', he turned away. I will not recommend anyone of my friends to go to this place because nobody will enjoy their meal with the attitude given by any of the restaurant staff. Later we show a photo of the restaurant's owner -- Mr.&Mrs Wan, the old waiter looked just exectly like Mr. Wan. Cons: bad atmosphere, bad service more
