Children's Dental FunZone Orthodontist

My daughter (6yrs old) has been going here for the last 3 years. She has had the same filling fall out & fixed 3 times. Almost all her fillings had to be redone by a different dental office. The last visit they wanted to do all this work and knock her out but they never took an x-ray. This place should be shut down. These are our children that they are abusing them just for money. My advices is question everything and get a 2nd opinion before you get work done big work done on your child. more

I went to Dental zone for the first time last week; I can’t express the dissatisfaction that I had. I was highly recommended this office for their friendliness and professionalism. To my surprise I got neither. The girls looked like they were unhappy as a McDonald worker. Specially the girl in the front, I didn’t get her name but I recall she had green eyes. She was very very rude and unprofessional. I do ask management, why you would not check what kind of people you present your office with. The front reception is the first impression that we get from an office and you are not giving a great impression by having her there. I will NEVER refer some one to your office, and my self will be looking elsewhere for a different facility. Good: I usually like coming to this place but lately dr's and staff suck!!!i didnt like anything my kids go to ortho there and im actually thinking of stoping treatment on them because of the unfriendly staff. Bad: I feel like the doctors are in it for the money they over charge they told us one price and later gave us a higher one... the front office can be really rude and unprofessional especially on sat the wait is UNBELEIVABLE.. the front office girls are so rude it looks like they dont get paid for working there my husband walked in with my son and he got the ugliest stupid face so UNPROFESSIONAL..He was not greeted by any of the two so called front office ladies because of those two i will take my kids to anothe. Improvements: Friendlier staff.. If i didnt have to work i would go monday thru friday but im not rich so saturdays to the dentist it is after the rude receptionist i will never go to this office again. Other: I have been coming to this offce since you guys opened ive been here through the remodel ,place looks great by the way sad to see you have workers that give a shit about your patients... more

If your child needs work make sure you get a second oppinion. They did not get an x ray of the tooth in question and did not try. But the dentist said my son needed a root canal and crown. He would also have to go under anestisia. My son would have to have a root canal, crown and be put under not to mention the fee without an x ray. I took my son to my dentist. He had a small cavity that was filled in less than 10 minutes. No root canal or crown was needed. more

SO wonderful. My terrified, screaming child was treated with compassion and caring. Left feeling brave and accomplished. The doctors DID let me make decisions about his treatment and I was allowed to hold his hand through the WHOLE thing, including the XRAy. Sensitive, caring staff. Great waiting room. Ceiling TV's in treatment rooms. We went with them even though our insurance didn't cover it. IO am changing to a plan they accept. The Best more

what we don't like abt this clinic was they do it the way "they want it". They won't ask the parents opinion or want they want for their children. Like they found 6 cavities to my 3yr old son and the dentist decided immediately to have him crown ( crown for an 32 month old child?). Tho we told her that we want to preserve his teeth asmuch as possible and still want the conservative treatment. They kept insisting it will fall out. We told them,we'll just deal with that if it happens. Service was so poor, tell you they will call u back abt the coverage of insurance. And lastly, they told us we don't have that "good coverage" that's why our out of the pocket was $600+. I used to work in marketing, so i know what they're upto...business as usual.k? they will charge you as much as they can,( if you're not a pro in bulling). Then, when I found another Pediatric Dentist. The dentist listened, respect our decision,treated it conservatively. he even told us that "CROWN is not needed b'zoz its not deep.". The best part is He told us we have good dental covearge, we just paid $130 for the initial treatment and they might refund it back to us. So Mothers, search first before entrusting your child and yourself to someone, because these drs. will be part of your child/rens'dental life. Hope this be a lesson for future goers in this CHILDRENS DENTAL UNfun Zone. more

My niece needed to be seen by a dentist but was too far away from West Covina and was sent to Eagle Rock office. Upon arrival front office staff were unprofessional. When we were seen by female doctor(jenik),she had no patience and was agitated by her crying & giving me dirty looks!After visual exam we decided not to proceed with treatment.I felt not welcome because of my race.We ended going somewhere else. Doctor should not treat patients with disregard to someones race and amount of childs cavities. more

When I took my 3yr old who's been going to the dentist since she was 18 months to see them they said she needed 7 root canals and 2 fillings without even doing x-rays, and they told my insurance company that she was uncooperative which was no where near the truth, she loves going to the dentist and has always been more than willing to do what they asked they also asked me to pay cash, no check no credit card, only green cash if I wanted a discounted price. I was not happy with them at all, not to mention I later found out that they didnt even take my insurance even though they told me they did. I'll never go there again. more

I took my little cousin here because he needed to get his teeth pulled out. The whole thing went swell, the papers sucked. When he got in, the whole thing took less than 10 minutes and i was out and about getting some ice cream. The price is okay for pulling out your teeth. I recommend anyone with children to take their kids here. real friendly people. more
