Since the new owners took over, I've noticed the store isn't as busy as it once was. There is less food, especially the breads and produce. I used to order these awesome stuffed to the hilt grinders that were reasonably priced for what you received. The last time I ordered the amount of stuffing in the grinder was literally half of what I was used to getting. I stopped ordering them and buy the ingredients myself and make them at home. Much more cost effective.
The lights at the produce unit and one of the coolers and some of the freezers are not on any longer. It makes it difficult to see what is available and to see the condition of the food. I do not like this.
The people behind the deli were great. They waited on me with efficiency and politeness.
When I got to the check-out, the man seemed nervous. I asked him a question and he had no clue what I was asking. He didn't seem like he spoke much English. He also didn't seem like he knew what he was doing.
There used to be a nice British girl that ran the register along with a few other women that really knew what they were doing. I no longer see any of them. Where did they all go?
The prices for alcohol is the most reasonable prices in town. We have been all over checking prices.
Over all I would have to say, alcohol prices are good. Everything else went downhill with the exception of the deli staff.
