I have been taking my bulldogs here for over 10 years. Since Dr. Gunner sold the business the staff and Vets are rude and their knowledge is questionable. They are all about the m...

I had actually been to this place a few times years ago with my mom and our family cat and remembered it being pretty good. I had to take my cat in for a possible UTI. I was really glad that they have such good hours. The nurse and doctor were both very knowledgeable and nice. The nurse was also very helpful. At one point my cat decided to relieve himself in his carrier after he was taken back for a urine sample and the nurse cleaned it and put his blanket in a plastic for me. It seemed a little on the pricey side, but all vets are expensive and I did get the exam for free because it was my first visit (saved $40.00). I would go back again. more

If you are looking for a fancy setting, this is not it, but the staff were really amazing when I brought my dog in and helped me through a very difficult time. I knew what needed to be done, but it is never easy to let a pet go. Every single staff person was friendly, supportive and professional. If I get another pet in the future I will not hesitate to bring them here. more

These guys are GREAT! I have heard a lot of wonderful things about the hospital, and I personally know a few of their staff and doctors and can vouch that they are some of the best I have met they provide a wide range of services and provide caring service and very flexible with drop off hours and weekend hours. As a pet parent I realize the hard time we have finding a Veterinarian and team that we trust with the healthcare of our furry family members. Although they may not be located in the best part of town, they are well worth the drive.. and to top it off I hear there is a kick butt Emergency Veterinary Hospital down the street at Fresno/ Mckinely. :) more

My husband and I have brought two of our dogs here. Our first dog was very old and had started slowing down, and we found that her liver was failing. We are a young couple who have never been faced with the decision of putting down a pet before, and it was a very hard decision to make. The staff was incredibly sympathetic and gave us plenty of time to make our decision and didn't push us to take on a treatment that might not have worked and a bill we couldn't afford. After we left our darling dog to be put down and cremated, we received a card from the office expressing how sorry they are for our loss. \r We brought our second dog in a few days ago after she had stopped eating and drinking and was just not her usual peppy self. Again, the staff was super nice, and Dr. Bangston (who has treated both of our dogs) is a super vet. Our dog is going to be okay.\r I also should note that both of our dogs got cute little bandannas to wear home, and our furrier dog got a bow in her hair. I just love that.\r more

I’ve been taking my cat Missy here for as long as I’ve had her, so about 2 years. I got Missy from the shelter so I first took her to get a check up and they gave her a clean bill of health. She has also had vaccinations, a teeth cleaning, and flea treatments done. Every time we come in we are really pleased, even though Missy does not enjoy being carted around in her crate, Dr. Nic has always been great to her, and to me and my budget. Missy and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. more

Thank you very much for the caring and kind gesture of the beautiful plant with the passing of our cat, Posh. We than you not only for these thoughtful deeds but also the loving, tender care she received form all of you the last couple of years. \r \r Thank you also for the compassion given to her at the end of her life. We realize it was as difficult for you as it was for us. We are very pleased with the cremation. Our little princess has found a special place in our home as she did in life. We were pleased to have her be part of our family as she left paw prints on our hearts, as she did with everyone who met her. Again, thank you very much, for your compassion. She is missed terribly.\r more

Great facility with a great staff. My yellow lab does not have thumbs, therefore, she can only give it ""two paws"" up. more

This place is honestly great. The staff is wonderful to work with; they really love your pets. The office visit was a lot cheaper than I am used to and the veterinarian that we had gave us great advice without just wanting our money. She could have tried to sell us so many medications for my cats through the vet, but instead she was open and honest and gave us all our options without pressuring us. She told us exactly what to do and asked us to call and let her know the results. I definitely will come here again. more

My husband and I just started raising backyard chickens a month ago, and the babies are precious. Being the protective mother hen I am I called Dr. Nic to ask if he would potentially see my chickens alongside my dog and cat I bring in. (Not that I plan to be the person who takes chickens to the vet, but, well... they are REALLY cute so far.) But, just in case I decide to become a crazy chicken lady, or even just need vaccinations or something, he's got it covered. Awesome. Dr. Nic is ready for anything. more

I have always taken my pets to Cedar Veterinary Hospital for a variety of reasons. Once, when my German Shepherd had a huge tick near his tail I was in a mixed state of disgust and disbelief. How could I have not seen this tick before? It was probably the size of a grape; swollen and throbbing. Disgusting. I threw Sadie in the car and we drove on over to Cedar because let’s be honest, I have no idea what to do about bugs and insects – especially ones that are sucking blood out of my beloved dog. When we got there we were seen right away and the gal at the front desk was very sweet about it. She seemed to understand where I was coming from and didn’t judge me at all about how a tick got on my dog. They took Sadie in the back room and only about 10 minutes later they reappeared. Sadie was fine, of course, but I had a ton of questions about Lyme disease, prevention, and how to remove them in the future. They gave me some good advice and even some preventative measures I could take around my house to be sure this wouldn’t happen again. I paid them a very affordable price and Sadie and I were on our way. All in all, it was a very quick, affordable, and informative trip. I’ve never received anything less than that from the docs at Cedar. more

My dog is like family to me and my spouse. There is nothing that I wouldn’t do for him. So when he wasn’t watching where he was running and smacked into a cement trashcan at the dog park, I was in a panic. His front right canine was chipped and I could see it wobbling- it needed to come out. I took him to Cedear Vet from the recommendation of a friend. The doctors there were the nicest, sweetest and most understanding vets ever. They took care of my dog and got him in for surgery that same moment. They extracted his tooth and he was as good as new. Even though Max is one canine short of a full set of teeth, he doesn’t even notice the difference due to the great work at Cedar Vet. more

We just wanted to say that Ceder veterinary Hospital has the nicest people in the world working for them, and that says a lot about the business. The staff loves what they do, and you can see that, and should be commended greatly. Thank you so much for all that you've done! I will absolutely continue to give them my business and HIGHLY recommend to anyone. more
