The castle theatre has been closed for a few years now and now holds a church where the theatre used to be and there are studio apartments above in the building. Since it's no longer a theatre I'd rate it very low for a theatre to go to ;). more

The Castle Theater offers comfortable couches and chairs, good food, and great movies. They usually show interesting movies - some that are newer and popular and some that are older but classic. You can order food there that is not normally offered in theaters and you can order alcohol drinks. There is considerable parking available on street and in lots. The people that work there are nice and helpful. Nice place to go to see a movie! more

My favorite place to see a movie in town is The Castle. It's front faces Washington Street, and looks like an old movie marquee. Inside is a full concession stand. FULL. You can get pizza, burgers, BEER or other alcohol, candy, etc. Full meals that you order and then they are brought to your seat in the theatre. And the inside of the theatre is the BEST. There aren't your rows and rows of tight seats. You get couches and love seats and tables, and they are spaced far enough apart and at an incline to allow everyone privacy and the ability to see the movie. There are also a few levels up as balconies that are decked out the same way. The place is clean and the staff friendly. The bathroom offers a speaker so you can keep up with what's going on in the movie. This theatre gets two thumbs up. more
