Disabled people treated nice 6/21/2003

My spouse and I get in free due to my disability. The people running the theater are great people and very nice. It's a laid back theater and it is also in one of the best neighborhoods where I grew up so I had less to worry about as far as getting our vehicle broken into like we did once at the theater in Governor's Square Mall. And the people seemed less as rude whereas most everywhere else the movie viewers are rude, obnixious. Felt more at ease in this theater than most. Had a wonderful time, they are attentive to details and a great selection. Pros: Not as crowded, Parking & decent area, Inexpensive more

I did Not Know 12/10/2002

I visit my friend on occassion and we go to the movies in Clarksville. I talked to a nice manager over at the Mall theatre about the quality of the theatres in Clarksville. She agreed that they needed work. She also told me that a new theatre might be coming soon. I asked if they were going to close both theatres. Her response was most likely the mall theatre. Of course nothing is set in stone, but a new theatre would be great there. After talking more, I found out why the theatres were in so bad of shape. For the most part they came out of bankruptcy this past year and the money was tight. I completely understand money being tight this day and age. Pros: great parking, good ticket price, ok concession prices Cons: poor staff, run down theatre, bring an umbrella more

Smells Like Grandma's Basement 9/20/2002

Anybody in Clarksville knows that if you want a theater with a pleasant atmosphere and good film and sound quality...go to Nashville. Both theaters here are long past their prime. Almost all other cities above 10,000 people have relegated horrible places like this to Dollar Movie Hell. The quicker an enterprising corporation can build a modern cinemaplex, the sooner these will quit gouging hard working Clarksville residents of their money. Pros: Location, Hasn't burned down Cons: Smells Bad, Outdated sound system, Dirty seats and floor more

Not so nice 9/19/2002

The choice of theatres in this town is disgraceful. It looks like this theatre has not gone under any type of renovation ever. And it needs it BADLY! I haven't seen a movie in months. For $6.75, I can get admission to a club and stay all night. more
