Good job overall 4/4/2014

I recently brought my car in for a NY inspection. The did the NY inspection as asked (it passed), but they also did an extremely thorough inspection of the vehicle, removing timing covers, engine covers, etc., and gave me a list of recommended services. I recognize and appreciate the need to provide a good look at the cars of your customers for pending problems, but this took quite a bit longer than I had planned and felt a little bit too much like trying to create work for the shop. I do appreciate the customer service provided by the front desk, and the waiting area is very clean and comfortable. They clearly care about their customers, which is valuable in this day and age. My only recommendation is that when a customer brings a car in for NY inspection and waits for it, that they be a bit more conscious of how much time is spent looking for "other stuff". I will be a returning customer nonetheless. more

I have always thought of Cantech as "doctors' of automobile repair. They listen carefully to your symptoms, make their diagnosis, and test their diagnosis, then explain it to you. It's worth skipping the dealer! more

Outstanding Service 2/10/2014

I brought in my car for an issue with the windshield wipers. the driver's side worked fine and the passenger side blade wouldn't move. they diagnosed it while I waited and determined it was just a missing screw. they repaired the problem and didn't charge me. In and out in less than a 1/2 hour. great service. much appreciated! more

Best mechanics in Syracuse 2/8/2014

I'm a SU student from Ohio, so when I needed to get my car fixed, I didn't know who to go to around here. Friend recommended Cantech, they were able to fix multiple issues with my Audi A4 from coolant leak, oil gasket, timing belt, brakes, and a missing fuse with my heated seats. Very professional, best customer service I've ever had. They kept me in the loop with emails and phone calls when needed. more

Great customer service 1/24/2014

I transferred my service here from the dealership when my vehicle's warrenty expired. I was looking for a place that could service my vehicle reliably and at a reasonable cost. I was pleasantly surprised to get not only that but great customer service as well. The only thing that could improve the experience is the availability of loaner vehicles because I need transportation to do my job. Love this place! more
