After 18 years of hell I left my husband . Then his dr pink slipped him. I begged her to not send him to a local hospital because hes been to all of them and noone helped. So I said that this place may be the answer to his suffering. 3 weeks later he comes home suffering from a stroke that was never addressed and in the same mental state. I repeatedly asked to speak to everyone because I felt they needed to understand why I left so they could help with counseling. As always noone thinks my opinion is needed. Now I'm forced to leave my husband after 40 years . 18 years of abuse because he never recieved proper treatment. When is someone ever going to wake up and realize that the familys spurred dearly when they have a loved one that cant get care. They suffer, all they let in their life suffer. It's not fair! And then the hospitals who ignore family opinions get them back with the same issues. I pray that something in mental heath care changes because after 18 years getting no help I'm going to need some care that I'll never recieve ! Dont waste your time here, move on and I hope you find help
