They are rude and don't care about your pet as much as they do the $$$$$. They charged to put a cast on my puppy then when it fell off in less then 24 hours wanted full price to do it again. They blamed the pup and us instead of admitting they did it incorrectly, his other cast lasted a week , not less then a day, all of the cast were still in good shape they just fell off . I'm glad they're ortho doctor wasn't mine when I had my shoulder done more

Thank you to all the staff at Camboro for years of priceless service and support to our dogs. They all actually still get excited to visit Dr Rummel and Dr Hummel and get spoiled by all the great techs as well as Bev and the front office crew. Going to Camboro has become like an episode of Cheer's where I play the role of Norm. That kind of thoughtfulness, care and respectful support are what helps us through the grieving process. \r \r Thank you for always being there with a smile and friendship. And thank you for always standing and fighting along side us to keep our babies happy and healthy for as long as we have with them. What you did for Nikita gave us months longer and that level of care very likely exceeded what most people get from their hospitals. \r \r Camboro is nothing short of amazing. This is what every clinic should be like. We are so happy to have you close by. more

We moved to Erie county with a 20 year old tiger cat, and had no idea who could help us with an older animal and her special needs. After going to a nearby vet with very little satisfaction, we were reminded that Dr Jim Rummel and the Camboro Veterinary Hospital were just a few miles south in Edinboro. Their help, professionalism, great care & follow-up gave us several more good years with our cat ""Kelly"". We now have a red toy poodle (male) dog and a beautiful russian blue (female) cat and they're both the healthiest animals we've ever owned. A special thanks to the good people at Camboro for all their help and and high level of care and concern !! more

Absolutely fantastic clinic. I have worked in veterinary practices and visited or tried most of ones around the Erie area. This clinic is large, well staffed, extremely friendly and has great doctors. I can not recommend them enough. The techs are extremely knowledgeable and caring, the front office is very compassionate, helpful and friendly and doctors like these don't come around very often. They have laser surgery and stem cell technology and are very up to date on new procedures and practices. The only upgrade would be to drive all the way to Ohio State University! And even that would only be for the technology. The doctors treat you like a friend and go above and beyond their duties to help. If you are not using Camboro and you live anywhere near Erie, you really should check them out. I'm not talking about a good clinic, this is a great clinic. The level of care they provide is far superior to other local places and the pricing is comparable. They go above and beyond what I expect for my dogs, which is a lot. Love, Love, Love this place! more

Great Doctor! -- *Rotten* Desk Staff!!! 11/22/2010

Dr. Lyon is enthusiastic about pets, kind, caring, compassionate, dedicated, knowledgeable, skilled, flexible, mature, & has excellent people skills. The notorious front desk staff at Camboro, however, is terrible - & could learn a thing or two about professional public relations from this doctor. more

A Great Doc... Surrounded By A Horrible Staff. 11/22/2010

Dr. Lyon was a great Veterinarian for my cat, who had multiple chronic health issues--including FeLV, IBD, & severe asthma. For 3 years, Dr. Lyon worked diligently with me to maintain his health & quality of life. However, the combative, haughty, superior, snotty, snide, judgmental, adolescent women who staff Camboro's front desk & phones--were *Horrid*. Dealing with these girls was like perpetually trying to break through a row of Linebackers just to speak to my cat's Dr, even when I was asked to call in. For 3 years, they were barely polite. And when my cat died last year--Camboro desk staff literally took pleasure in his death. They gloated & reveled in it, right in front of me. They would not even look me in the eye, & act decent, when they handed me his urn. I will never, ever, forgive this. Unlike these ""catty"" women, my cat was a fine soul--& he deserved MUCH better than this kind of treatment. Dr. Lyon, was not like this. So, that's 5 Stars for Dr. Lyon... & -4 Stars, for the Camboro staff who interfaces with the public. I loved Dr. Lyon, but dealing with Dr. Davis & the staff at Greener Pastures in Sagertown was much less grief, in every respect. more
