I've leaved in fear of dentists for as long as I can remember, I never smiled my teeth were so bad. I am a 46 year old female who had a really bad experience as a child and just never went back to a dentist . I knew going inn that i would need dentures. I was really embarrassed of my mouth. Iam so grateful of camarillo dental group my doctor made me feel very at ease and comfortable. I am so happy that I made the choice of seeing a dentist there.I had all my teeth taken out because they were so bad and I am still in transitional dentures, but i feel really good and I know itll be a while before I can really get hang of the dentures.I wish that I had gone to this office before I had to lose all my teeth. The staff and the dentist in this office are very caring. They saved me. more

I love CDG. I always feel like they actually like me and my family. Ive been going to Dr. Marr for a while now and I really like her. she is very patient with me because Iam so scared of dentistry and she takes good care of my little ones. wait time is not too bad she usually gets to all three of us within in an hour. I did have one appointment issue where they had me down for a different day, but they were nice enough to accommodate all 3 of us that day. I guess they felt bad since I was there with the kids. I have just recently started to see Dr woolrdige the orthodontist since Dr Mar pointed out justin's severe cross bite and I really like the treatment I got from her also. I didn't even know what cross bite was? This is a good office, I recomend it to all my friends and family. Only if I could get my husband to go to the dentist though! more

I had to see a specialist for my root canal, it was nice that they didn't send me out. They have the specialist come to the office. That is very accommodating .In the past I always had to go from an office to an office. The wait time was a little long. My children also see the orthodontist there. It is very convenient for me as a mother for 3. Prices are I think comparable to other offices within the area. The doctors are nice. The assistants seem to know what they are doing. Clean office!. If you are looking for a super deal this is not the place. They have everything including the laser whitening but ofcourse everything costs money. I trust them and I have been happy so far. So I would recommend this office. Though, make sure you give yourself enough time , we always have to wait.and payments are always do same day the work is being done. more

At first I was impressed with the high tech equipment and the friendly staff. However, by the end of my visit I had been quoted close to a thousand dollars in charges. In fact, they required that I sign a statement saying they warned me of my gum and tooth condition and the risk of tooth loss if left untreated. I gave in and had the pricey gum therapy that they strongly recommended. And refused the other treatments. I was suspicious and unwilling to pay hundreds of dollars for my dental visit that was supposed to be covered by insurance! I decided to have another opinion about the $310 partial crown they said I needed. I ended up going to another dentist and he agreed that I had a cavity, but my out of pocket charges were next to nothing. Pros: The staff is deceptively friendly Cons: Excessive out-of-pocket charges more

these guys run a very professional operation. I was very well treated from the moment I walked in to the end of the appointment. The Doctor did an amazing job of explaining to me why I needed what I needed. It is nice for a change to be treated with respect. I have never had a visit like this before. This is just superb!! I have quite a bit of work that needs to be done due to my neglect. But I have out most confidence in these people. I am pleased. more

I went there first for a check up. I knew kinda ahead of time what I needed to get done since my sister in law is a dentist in Montana and we just made a move here. The lady doctor I had said the same exact things.. with a new addition of my apparent gum disease. Any ways Iam gonna start getting my work done. Today I had my kids inn. we ended up seeing another dentist plus the lady dentist.. They were so good to my kids, the staff is also very accommodating.. I actually felt very welcomed.. Prices aren't any different then other offices.. I wish I would still get the family discount I did with my sister in law. But, At least I found a good place for my family to go. I reccomend this place to people reading these pages.Iam a small town girl so I don't like to be treated like a number. I must say eventhough this is a big office it definitely has a small family feel to it. Itll probably take me a while to get my work done with the economic crisis we are all in, but Ill slowly start wi more

a bit pricey. but exceptional care! loved their facility. very clean, very friendly and very detail. wait time wasn't too bad. though they seem to be busy all the time. I guess thats a good thing! the only thing I didn't like is that my next appointment with a surgeon isn't for another two weeks. great care. I think I will continue with them for a while. their bathrooms were also very clean. The office is in a nice shopping center so after my appointment I went shopping. If you are looking for an office. They said I needed 2 fillings replaced and that the only way to do that would be with crowns which unfortunately were not covered under my dental plan. This is because they are not necessary and cosmetic. I asked if there was anything cheaper they could do and they said no, this was the only way to fix them. They took out the old fillings and put temporary ones in so that I couldn't get a second opinion or change my mind. Be careful because they are very nice and convincing and talked me into it. I got a second opinion by getting copies of my xrays and going to another dentist. He was very helpful and was able to refill the holes in my teeth for hundreds of dollars cheaper and it looks and feels great now 2 years later. They did not want to give me my money back at Camarillo Dental Group so I filed a grievance with my insurance company. Luckily they found that I had not signed a paper that I was supposed to sign ( they purposely did not show it to me) and that paper stated that there was in fact an alternative treatment that would have been covered under my insurance for a $25 co-pay. If you have been scammed by them file a grievance with your insurance company and tell everyone you know not to go there! Pros: They are super nice salesmen. i have been a patient here for years now.. some doctors have come and gone.. but service always maintains its level. keep up the good work. prices are what they are dentistry is just expensive period. So might as well get quality. I am okay here and I like it here I recomend this place to any one that has common sense and isn't expecting all for nothing. more

for years and years I went an office which had really old chairs and equipments, I had crown and bridges done that were always falling out and I was always in pain. I recently went to camarillo dental group and I was blown away.. wow I was in the dark. This is a great office. everyone is really nice and doctors do great work. just had my first appointment there. seems to be very clean and nice. Everyone is easy going and friendly. So it works for me. they are also up on all the new stuff, which compare to my old dentist is a real eye opener. dentistry I guess is much smoother and painless in the right office and the right doctor...again this works for me. more

I am new to this area , so I looked up this office on my insurance book. I had a cleaning done , that went great.\r I have an appointment next week to start some work. Prices they gave me were very reasonable and my insurance covers a good portion of it.I really liked the staff and the doctor. some of the comments on this page dosn't do this place a justice. you get what you pay for. there is always someone willing to do something cheaper.. but is it better? If you find a dentist you like stick to them. I think I found mine here... thanx more

I went to Camarillo Dental Group as it was a dental office covered by my insurance. The cleaning went well and the DDS was very kind in discussing the treatment needed. Then the woman from insurance/billing came in. The cost of treatment was to be over $8,000 for only half of my mouth! The crowns needed, a $250 co-pay according to my insurance company and policy book, were quoted as a $700 co-pay. Same gold under porcelain crown that I was to be paying $250.00 for. Because CDG uses only 'captec' brand crowns the insurance company's negotiated rates were not honored. While discussing this with the insurance company, I switched to a different local dentist. My new treatment plan is what Camarillo Dental Group was wanting and work needed on other teeth outside of CDG's quote. The new dentist, honoring the insurance's rates, is a huge savings. I liked this place a lot. Every one is nice. They treated my little 3 year old girl very kindly.. They were able to accommodate family appointments which most offices won't do. Much appreciated the services offered. more

I was looking to find a dentist on a friday afternoon I was in a lot of pain. I called at least 6 different offices within this area no one could see me. But this office welcomed me and eventhough I had to wait a bit they were able to help me out. I am no longer in pain. thank you. more

I have always liked getting my teeth cleaned until i went here...now i'm rather fearful. The teeth cleaning I had here was painful and violent which i've never encountered before. The lady just quickly poked and stabed at my guns with a vibrating torture pick! And she had the nerve to comment that "gee your bleeding a lot" & "look like it hurts". I actually had to tell her to stop. Also, I feel like because of all the "services" they offer here the place is just one big advertisement. Of course they will do crowns the same day they want the money. When my husband went here they said it would be $3,000 after the insurance!!! more
