I use California Audio all the time. They take good care of me. They have installed remote car starters, alarms, stereo systems, HID lighting kits for headlights, license plate bulbs--all sorts of things for me. If anything ever goes wrong, they have great warranties and will get it fixed right away. I keep going back to California Audio because they have great customer service. Good people, good business, excellent service. 8/1/2011

I'm originally from Utah, but now live in South Dakota. A few weeks ago I came down for a visit, and a friend sent me to California Audio because he'd had a great experience with them. The stock amplifier in my car had blown, and I wanted a system upgrade, too. I went in without a whole lot of knowledge about them or about car audio in general. The salesman was great. He made me feel comfortable, and I know I got my money's worth. I ended up with a new stereo deck, amp and subwoofer. The salesman didn't try to give me anything I didn't want or need. He presented me with a couple of different options, and the aftermarket system I ended up with is great in terms of both quality and value. They were even able to sync up all the steering wheel controls, even though it wasn't the manufacturer's equipment. I was taught how to use everything, and overall it was an excellent experience. Afterwards, I sent my brothers to California Audio. They chose a similar system, and in the end felt the same way I did about the service. I'm now telling my whole family about them. more

Fantastic job with custom install. 5/16/2011

California Audio did a custom project for me. They put a stereo system in our show trailer and the exterior of the show trailer. They put in a head unit, and then a remote control unit was installed as well. Because it is a trailer, they were working in a different environment than a vehicle, so some of the things were more like housing issues. They did a very nice job with that. They were creative in the way they had to deal with everything. The job was done fantastically, and everything sounds great. When I have gone to California Audio, everything I needed was in stock. I just went in and picked up a few more things from them, and they seem to stock everything I need. Alan was even willing to drop the speakers in and test them. It was great. Alan from California Audio is a pretty good friend of mine. I've been going there for about ten years now. I've always been happy when I've left there. I can go in there, tell him what I want and he'll figure out a way to do it. The install is always professional and clean. He does a lot of my friends cars too, and everyone gets pretty excited over the install. I've never heard anything bad about their experiences. I recently had an AVIC-X920BT installed in my chevy truck I thought had a volume problem. I didn't and these guys had me straight in minutes and on my way! They are very good at what they do and I would recommend them to all !!! more

Honest, reputable company. 1/11/2011

California Audio installed a remote starter for me. I had used them before for tinting my windows, but this was the first time they did a starter. They got me in quickly, and it was done in a timely manner. It was very satisfying. The remote starter is working great. They are an honest, reputable company. more

Python 991 Install 12/29/2010

I had a Python 991 and Ipod adapter installed on my '07 Accord. I was impressed with how quickly California Audio (CA) was able to work on my car. The installer did an excellent job with the fit and finish and the alarm and ipod adapter work great. I would recommend CA to others and will have them do more work for me in the future. more

Excellent Service, price and knowledge 12/20/2010

I have had four cars that I had CA do some stuff on, and every time I have been very pleased with their recommendations on how to get the best bang for my buck. They always gave me more than what I expected and looked at the best option to keep the cost within my budget. I will always remain a true fan and customer! more

I have never had a problem with any of the equipment. 12/6/2010

I work close to California Audio, so I can leave my van with them, come back when it is all ready, and it is all good. It is that simple. They have installed CD players, amps, and sub woofers. I have a lot of vehicles, and they had done that for all of them. They are reliable, and I have never had a problem with any of the equipment. That is pretty good. more

California Audio installed my sound system and alarm with remote start. Everything is working well; I couldn't be happier. They were great, and if something is wrong with the installation they do, it is guaranteed. It is great; they will try to fix it for free. They treat you well. I recommend them all the time. more
