Forget all the other large places in Aggieland. And trust me, I have eaten at every one. For a large scale operation this place kicks serious butt. I have never been a fan of buying smoked turkey breast, but I buy theirs by the pound..... Ribs, Brisket, pork butt, chickens and sausage are all wonderful also. They also have a large selection of awersome sides to go along with the meats. And if you are a desert freak (as I am) you have to try their Cobblers(Peach and Blackberry) Can you say YUMMY!!!! Pros: Awesome food Great Service Cons: Honestly can not think of any at this time. Too busy licking my fingers to think of anyting bad.... more

Hidden Treasure 3/9/2004

The barbeque offered by C&J's is the best in the Brazos Valley. The brisket is fantastic, juicy, flavorful, and it falls apart in your mouth. The barbeque chicken is equally as wonderful. They offer ribs, pork, and sausage too! To top it off, the sides that go with your feature meats compliment the meal to a T. This particular restaurant (down Harvey Rd) is worth the extra 5 minute drive. It's a small place, but shouldn't be looked over. Pros: Inexpensive, Great value, Great service more
