C & G Shoe Repair

Not only did I have to pay TEN dollars for each heel put on my two pair of shoes, but the shoes were returned still dirty and in need of polish. I will NEVER go to this place again and tell everyone else I know not to use them, too. I'd rather find some place out of town than experience this overcharging, poor workmanship, rip off establishment. If I could give it 0 stars, I would. Brought in 2 pair of shoes on Friday, June 25, 2010 around 11:00 a.m.. Was quoted a total of $60.00, one pair was $20.00 to replace liners and the other was $40.00 to replace liners, heel bottom pieces (plastic), glue top of shoe back to sole. He said to come back at 3:00 p.m. Fiancee picked up shoes - brought home. The liners weren't replaced, missed an area that needed to be glued, sprayed black, still could see scufffs. Of course I was upset so we went back over to discuss. The man said that replacing the liners wasn't in the estimate. He wasn't willing to do anything - in fact he thought it was funny. I will NEVER recommend anyone to that shoe repair store - as usual will have to go OUT OF LOMPOC to get service. Pros: Local Cons: Service poor, unsatisfactory. more
