Not worth the admission fee 4/20/2014

Absolutely disgusted with the treatment of their two asian elephants. Many local residents are requesting the retirement of their two asian elephants and the zoos responses to these residents are shameful and childish. This zoo's facilities and exhibits are outdated and not worth any admission fee. Better off taking the drive to Roger Williams any day. more

Nice Zoo 8/12/2005

Buttonwood Zoo has animals that are local to Massachusetts ecosystems. This makes it particularly informative for people to learn more about the animals around them. The otters are very amusing and the swans like to do a little dance and honk. Many animals are injured or cannot be returned to the wild. The elephants are the only animals that are not native and they are older and needed a home. Good zoo for kids. more

Cute little zoo 7/29/2005

This is a small zoo that you can take your children to. Just to see the amazement on their faces when they see Bison, brown bear, otters, sea lions and other creatures. The price is fairly inexpensive. It small but I think it's just enough for the kids to walk around and tire themselves out. more
