This is one of my favorite places to get hot wings. I LOVE hot wings, and they know how to do them right! They are smaller than ""usual"" hot wings, but that is good becuase it ...

Worst

I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy! 3/23/2009

I can't even begin to tell you about the bad experiences I've had at this location. I know that most people wouldn't even go back after 1 or 2 bad experiences, but apparently I'm a glutton for punishment. That or I'm from the Midwest and back home this place kicks BUTT!\r \r The wings are good.....but after that everything goes downhill at this location. I was a returning customer on Tuesdays for the 40 cent wings (yeah back in the day that's what they used to cost) we went for almost a year straight. Not 1 manager in that year of going ever gave us any form of recognition. I was in the service industry for 5 years and couldn't imagine not recognizing a customer that came into my location at least once a week for a year!\r \r Service is horrible at this location. I've never seen so many bad servers in my life! We had a server dump half a pint down my friends back and then proceed to serve the half empty pint to the person that ordered it at my table. Never even dawned on her to refill the beer! We had a server hand out our wing order. My friend picked up a wing and ate it. Then our server came back and said ""Oh this is the wrong order"", he took the wings from my friend and gave them to another customer at a different table! The order had a wing missing from it!\r \r I have endless stories but I won't go on. If you are looking for a killer wing place in Portland I recommend Fire On The Mountain, they were rated the number 1 wing place. Or in Hillsboro, Lil' Cooperstown has 50 cent wings on Wed. and they are really good Pros: Tuesday and Thursday 50 cent wings Cons: EVERTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE more

BEWARE I got very sick after eating the boneless wings 11/16/2008

BEWARE!!!! I have eaten here several times and really liked the food but the last time i went on nov. 14th I got very sick. My friends, I found out later, had the same thing happen to them two weeks ago after eating the boneless wings as well. Go at your own risk, stomach cramps, throwing up and diarreha are likely to follow you home in about 2 hours. more

YUMMY! By far some of the best wings! 11/4/2008

This is one of my favorite places to get hot wings. I LOVE hot wings, and they know how to do them right! They are smaller than ""usual"" hot wings, but that is good becuase it means they are not really fatty and hard to get off the bone, like most ""usual"" ones. They are really tender and you can choose from so many different flavors! I like the mango habanero the best...it is sweet and really spicy! They also have a large beer selection to wash it down and TONS of TVs! Great place to watch sports! My favorite side are the buffalo chips dipped in blue cheese! SO GOOD! \r \r Glad they are downtown now! Pros: Food, ambience, fun sports bar, non-smoking, beer Cons: can be really busy with long waits when a sporting event is going on more

GREAT Ribs and Burgers!!! 3/24/2008

This sporty restaurant is a must for sports fans or rib lovers! With your choice of over 13 sauces from sweet to spicey you can't go wrong. The patties on the burgers were a disgusting inch thick! If you are a hungry meat eater you will like these meaty burgs.\r \r The service was friendly and knowledgeable. Pros: Yummy ribs!! Great atmosphere. Super service! Cons: Ranch dressing was not our favorite. Side salad was only okay. more

Good on Thursdays 12/19/2007

The only time to go is Thursday during Happy Hour, when you can get cheap Cosmopolitans (they're small, but cheap and do the job) and Boneless Wings for 50 cents apiece. Otherwise the food is about the same price you'll pay at Red Robin but not half as good. Bland, fried food you can find at any other bar around. Nothing's healthy, so don't even try if you're counting calories or vegetarian. My friend and I liked to meet here after work for a while (we both live in the neighboring apartments), but it's so overwhelmingly noisy we moved our hangout to Stanford's across on Evergreen. Get in, get wings, get out. Pros: Good location, good sauces, decent happy hour Cons: Normally expensive, extremely noisy more

I visited the new location in Downtown Portland... Bad idea... Twice. 12/15/2007

I work downtown so when the new buffalo wild wings opened my co-worker and I decided to run over and get some cheeseburgers to go. The chicks at the take out counter looked like they were tranquilized and unprofessional. Granted they were new, but come on, atleast hire someone that knows how to socialize and smile a little bit. We were told it would take 15 minutes for our order. My coworker received his order while I ordered before he did and before the other 5 customers that were served before me. I was on my break and I needed to get back to work so I politely asked the girl, Dani, if she could check on my order. She went back into the kitchen for atleast 10 extra minutes and came out empty handed. Then she came up to me like she had never seen me and asked if I needed help. I must have looked like a crazy girl staring back at her because I was so confused that she and the other waitress were acting like they had never seen me!! So I asked again and specified for the third time that I wanted a cheeseburger with no onions (I'm allergic). Finally, after a 45 minute wait the girl comes out with my bag of food. She also charged me extra for ketchup (are you kidding me?). I got back to work late and in trouble and still hadn't eaten my cheeseburger so I am now dying of hunger and open my box... There is a burnt to a crisp piece of meat between two buns and... a ton of onions. No ketchup on the burger either. I just had to BUY packets from the girl. Anyway, I wished I hadn't tipped them (they make you tip on your credit card slip before the service even begins). Stupidly on my part, a few days later, my other co-worker convinced me into going back with her to get boneless wings (they were .50 cents on thursdays). Again, same Dani chick. I asked for one box of teriyaki wings and one box of garlic parmesean. I tip her again trying to be nice. I order a drink ($3) and get back to my work and she gave me bbq wings. I had to give them away because they made me sick. Wow. Pros: Location Cons: The service, food, ambience, etc... more

Food services of America at it's finest... 12/4/2007

What a letdown, tiny little buffalo wings, tasteless ribs. Definitely order the boneless wings, the regular ones look like they came off a game hen. Went with 3 others and we all sampled different sauces and dishes. It's basically bar food served anywhere there is happy hour (Applebees, TGIF, etc) to be expected so food is very secondary to the alcohol and big TV screens that they tout. Asked for ranch dressing instead of blue cheese, still got blue cheese and got charged extra for the ranch which came after asking twice. It was 80 cents for the 3-tablespoon serving so do the math, no big deal but they will nickel and dime you. \r \r In a blind taste test, their wings would taste no different from the ones at my local grocery deli. Too bad, great concept, good location, reputable chain? I'm not a food snob and I'm happy with most pub food but was really disappointed by how ""average"" the wings were considering that it is supposed to be their specialty. Pros: TVs, friendly staff (lots of them mostly doing nothing) Cons: Bland food, nickel and diming for condiments, inefficient staff more
