I had to post a reveiw after reading on this site, i actually laughed... wow he is right, but anyway... i had a good experience working with them so i think they are good... what ever that means to anyone reading this site. they were fine to work with for me, i tried spore he charged $100 to look at my lcd and he quoted me $300+deposit wasnt worth it by chance i was next door at dollar general and stoped in to ask, turns out they charge $25 to look at and it is applied to the repair... opps by me, they guessed what sporer said was the problem but quoted me half price, before they even looked at... it would up costing me $200 to get it fixed but they gave me a coupon and the deposit off the price so it was only like $165+/- so worth the repair. Pros: Fast, friendly and easy to work with Cons: weird reveiws on this site. took 2 weeks more

How Strange-site sponser? 3/16/2009

I looked them up because I thought that was the right thing to do. The comments on this site range from people who seem truly honest to people that seem odly vendictive. Man, it's a electronic repair shop!, Why, is their site sponsered by a competitor?, Very strange.... I went their after doing some research and was very, very, pleased. I had no problems with ""rudeness"", another strange complaint, they are just like any other service company. Has anybody out their had their car serviced or their furnace worked on, come on how much social contact do you have, I just have the work done. why, does this shop get so much attention? I think they have a problem with competitors, there seems to be so much written about them being rude, or whatever. All I want is my stuff fixed if I was not happy I wound simply go somewhere else. I went there, I was referred by another customer, and it was no big deal. They fixed it, they called me, and I went and picked it up, and guess what it was a fine experience. Certainly nothing to all this fuss about. There are so many other shops why the fuss about this one, there are not even good reports on the other shops! How very strange, this one seems to be the only shop that gets any business, wonder why? Could it be the reason they get so many odd comments? WHY IS THIS SITE SPONSERED BY HARVEY ELECTRONICS? The place is a disgusting mess. People there are rude, including the owner. Rave reviews on here have to be done by company, if I wanted you to go ""there"", I would say go there, not ""here"". Worst place ever, just check out easternmichiganbbb.gov. No more reviews needed. They said they fixed my T.V. I got it home, plugged it in, turned it on ""Poof "" it started smoking and it didn't work, Took it back and all I got was a big argument from them. They were very rude and they have absolutely NO customer values. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Cons: they exist more

I do not write reviews, but I was so happy with my repair and when I read what some idiot wrote I decided that it was imporant I corrected or at least responded to their comments. First of all I like 95% of the other people on this board we have had nothing but a good experience. I wonder what the real story is on these other complaints. Two weeks for service on a tv not even manufactured in America, is not that long, i had a car fixed that was american made that took 3 weeks. I don't have extra cars, i have extra tvs, I can wait on a tv. I know its a little thing but by the way they are not the only shop in town, however they are my favorite and in my opinion is the Best, and everybody who uses them would probably agree, sometimes people are unhappy no matter who they use. I was treated well, my set was fixed in a reasonable time, I was charged a fair price, my deposit was deducted from my repair and I am and will always be a pleased customer. This is a business that preforms a service in our community, they are referred by most manufactors and the people I know only go to them. Great service, service techs that are factory trained and they have real secretaries that answer the phone in a professional manner. Them being factory authorized is a big plus i have checked online at fixya and selfhelp electronic sites they all say go to a shop that at least is a authorized servicer company because it means and i quote""they are updated about failures on the sets that are being manufactured and purchased for a store today"" , thats who I want working on my television not some business that the youngest guy still remembers listening to a tube radio, they are very up-to-date and they have two guys who are at least 50's but 3 guys who have got to be in there 20-30's who really know that new stuff. I was impressed with the amount of work they move through there the place is busy because they are really good. LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE 1/11/2009

I TOOK MY TV IN FOR REPAIR. IT TOOK OVER 2 WEEKS AND NUMEROUS CALLS TO EVEN GET AN ANSWER ON REPAIRS. THEY LIE, AND DON'T REALLY CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER. I AGREE THAT THEY NEED TO TAKE CUSTOMER SERVICE 101. THEY PROBABLY REALIZE THAT THEY ARE THE ONLY GAME IN TOWN AND ARE VERY ARROGANT. I WILL NOT USE THEM AGAIN!! In my Opinion Great Service 1/9/2009

I see some unhappy people have posted but if you walk into there shop the business they do is unreal when i was there to drop mine 4 other people were there to do the same the place is packed. I read one of the guys complaints on here that he was promised an estimate in 3 days wow, i dont even know how this is possible but hell they fixed it for me in 2 weeks. It works great and they helped me pick out a battery backup. If you looking into buying a new tv talk to John over there he talked too me for 20 minutes about the differents in formats, LCD and Plasmas, bluray and teradisk. I am just amazed how knowlegdable they are, they are good people and i hope they stay as busy as ever. Pros: Great service Cons: I guess not much more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER... 12/30/2008

This is absolutely the worst customer service/repair experience I have ever had with a compnay. Took a TV in to get repaired. Brighton TV had it for three months and they HAD ME looking for the parts for them. After telling them I was coming to get it to take to another place, they suddenly could not find it and said ""we can throw out your merchandise after 10 days - I am not even sure it is still here"". Am thinking about legal action against them and would NEVER, EVER recommend that anyone use them for anything. On top of this, they are extremely rude - they have no idea how to treat a customer. GOOD JOB, ALWAYS 9/24/2008

I HAVE JUST HAD A SERVICE CALL AND MY SET WAS REPAIRED. BRIGHTON T.V. DID A WONDERFUL JOB. I RESEARCHED THEIR COMPLAINTS AND FOUND THAT EVERYONE HAD BEEN RESOLVED. IT CLEARLY STATES THAT COMPANIES OF THIS SIZE DO RECIEVE COMPLAINTS, BUT I ALSO SEE THAT THE HAPPY CUSTOMERS OUT WEIGH THE UN-HAPPY ONES. THEY ARE FACTORY AUTHORIZED, THAT MEANT A LOT MORE TO ME THAN JUST ANY OLD TV REPAIRMAN. Possibly the worst experience of my life...regardless of their knowledge about televisions, they were slow, lacked severely in communication, and were the most rude, confrontational people I have ever encountered. Don't bother with the reviews on here...just check out how many complaints have been filed against them in the past three years...their history speaks for itself! more

Outstanding service, outstanding work, outstanding people! 9/19/2008

I had a wonderful experience in working with this company. I had a Bose system that had been down for two years, and did not know where to go to get it fixed. I found these guys and they were terrific! The technician took the time to explain everything to me in detail, he stayed in communication with me, and he even fixed it at home so that I could have it back in a timely manner. For anyone looking for electronics repair, DO NOT GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE! more

SERVICE WORK WELL DONE 9/2/2008

I just had the best the best experience having my LCD repaired. I had taken it somewhere different before and they were unable to help me. I was pleased with the cost and communication I recieved from Brighton T.V. the staff was friendly and knew the product. I did wait on my part but they explained that parts can take a little more time today with the way the world operates now. My lcd looks great and they made it cost effective to repair it. Thank you Brighton T.V. for service work well DONE. more

World's worst customer service!!! 8/27/2008

Worst customer service experience of my life! Took over a month, never returned our phone calls, and then they were rude to us, both on the phone and in person. Would never recommend, even if they know how to fix a television. Would rather pay more money and be treated like a decent human being!!! more

A TV i swore had no hope FIXED. 6/2/2008

I justed picked up my rca 38"" tv i took it to two other shops one charged me $100 diagnostic fee and then never called me back again, i finally got it refunded from my credit card company after i proved they never made a attempt at a repair that was the key they never came back. I figured i would try one more time and if they also gave me a $700 estimate i would go to my trash can. It took 2 weeks to get an estimate but they fiexed if for $190 way cheaper then anyone else took alittle more time but it got fixed and cheap i work on the rule of 3... fast, cheap, quality. you can have 2 but not three, i was upset with the time but god it was better then anyone i had worked with otherwise. I know some people have so complaintes on here but to me my tv is not my breathing machine so I was just really happy to not have to redrywall my builtout tv room. the guy with all the nasty comments must be a competitor of Brighton T.V., because you seem to be obsessed with making them look bad. They have been in business for years and they are an authorized service center for many different manfacturers. Shops that are authorized must meet many standards that other shops can't. If they really had the problems that you claim they would not be an authorized service center. Any real customer would contact them and look for resulution. You just seem to want them to look bad, I am guessing your axe grinding is because it's ""to your advantage"" more

I have never needed service on any product before. I was so happy with the way Brighton TV took care of us. They booked our call and came out replaced the parts and did so quickly and it cost much less than I had been quoted elsewhere. The woman I spoke to, walked me thru the procedures and was just wonderful. Pros: customer service Cons: can't think of any more

Made a customer very happy 2/11/2008

I took my LCD television for repair to another service center and after they were unable to repair it I then took it to Brighton TV, in Brighton Michigan. LCD televisions were something they are factory trained to repair and as a result my set was repaired and at less than I expected. I will never go any to any other company. I am a very happy customer. Pros: cost less,knew the product,fast service Cons: they need more service centers more
