My appreciation of American art began at this museum. Though the museum features artists other than the Wyeths, it's the work of the talented family that keeps me coming back. Christina's World, the large pig: These works and others reflect the simple beauty of a quiet way of American life. Make sure to walk around the rear of the museum by the Brandywine River and check out the bronze statues. Children are especially fond of them.
